I agree, unless I didn't feel go or just so hectic I didn't have a second, I would cook. But if I didn't work and I would make sure I did my share. I always offer, but sometimes you are just dead. I would never expect you to cook all the time.Felix4067 wrote:Thank you, Denise! 99% of the time I don't care that I am the only one who cooks. But today is a 1% day.
I won, by the way. She waited until a few minutes ago, and then went out and started reheating the leftover Singapore Chicken for both of us.

Nice sunny day here ... 75 and breezy, no complaints.
Ravioli tonight made with wontons. Spinach, ricotta and mozzarella, not sure of my sauce yet - maybe a light white wine sauce; romaine salad on the side
Also making a crock pot white chicken stew for a old neighbor who had surgery; Hubby's idea of dinner is KFC and they have 4 kids to feed. Nothing spicy, but it is on her list of things she can eat. I'll make a salad for the family and a soft fruit salad for my friend; and bread.
Workers in the house today, so I have to be here for a while this morning.

Funny thing, Hubby and I were just talking about Fish Sticks this past weekend!Laury wrote:Tonight is fish sticks, baked potato and cucumber salad. We saw an ad recently for fish sticks. Tom mentioned he missed them and would like to have them. I agreed that I had liked them years ago. So we are having them tonight.
Your dinner sounds great!
Tonight we're having Tuna Sammies, probably made into a Tuna Melt and Sweet Potato Fries

that was a good answer ;)Laury wrote:Tom asked me if fish sticks are healthy. I told him by my exercising and mostly eating healthy I am doing well enough. I don't really want to be the healthy chronically ill person in existence.

All in moderation. Eat a fresh salad, veggies and I don't mind haven't something fried. I eat potato now and then stuffed with butter and sour cream, but I try to do a grilled fish and tomato slices on the side for something healthy.
