Sorry Nin, I've been up early, but as usual - computer repairs. I got one working pretty good, but the space bar is giving me issue now. But everything else seems to work. I put in a new hard drive and transfered everything over. So far ... so good. I'm hoping the space bar is an easy fix.

Sorry it is so chilly Nin. I know the NW is very cold with snow right now and MI may get hit with some as well.

I hate to say 77 and sun today for us.
Busy day with work going on in my house (tile guy), card night for the ladies today, and then g/f for dinner - so I will be busy.

Lady #1 and #2: Card Night
They decided on Red Beans and Rice, smoked sausage Cornbread and Collards

Me: Finally going to make my zucchini pasta with toasted walnuts. My friend isn't a vegetarian, but she tries NOT to eat meat or chicken etc. So, just a light pasta dish with a salad on the side. And of course a bottle of wine

Friday nights we were always up at Bear Lake and Fridays during the summer were Fish Night at the BLIB, as we called it. The Bear Lake Bar. Blib for short. They had the best fried perch, fries, slaw a secret recipe ... and a cold drink for 5.99. What a deal!

Have fun tonight. I used to love those nights.

Same here the bar was right across the lake, but during the summer they set out a tent which was right on the lake and served out there. We loved it. Most Fridays during the rest of the year we were traveling up there and didnt get there until 9 or so, so we rarely went. But yes, they had it year round. But spring and summer, absolutely we were there.

Sunday am ... the Lodge usually had the pancake breakfast. 3.00 for coffee, juice, pancakes, bacon and their famous strawberry syrup; and if was all you could eat pancakes.

Ahhhhh ..... Memories!

Sounds so wonderful KC! makes me happy that it has brought back great memories for you! We can walk across the lake to the lodge, but have only done that once or twice, far too cold/windy for that!

Ours has the breakfast specials too, from time to time. Their food is TDF, nice full wall fireplace, and the view~plus the entertainment and company, makes for a very fun night!

Nothing better than Fish n Chips in places like the Moose! :) Where I grew up, the Moose was right on the banks of the Mississippi River. Full wall of glass looking over the river of course. Quite lovely!

We did end up ordering pizza last night, so tonight will be the fish tacos. I was out of cilantro to make the sauce and DS really wanted the fish tacos, so he shall have them tonight

I had planned a crock pot meal, but then I didn't get home until almost 3am, didn't get to sleep until a little after 5am, and finally dragged myself out of bed about 12:30pm. So... http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/mayonnaise-catfish except with Tilapia.
