That is good comfort food isn't it. Sounds wonderful. Good cold weather food. It's mid 80's again here, 89 by Fri. Not exactly Fall. But, low humidity.

I would love to go back to a few cooler days. NOT cold, just cool. It was nice.

Trade you! We are currently unseasonably warm at 54, and it won't stop raining. :P

I may ;) have nothing for dinner ;) Why, you might ask. Well, today was my day in town with the elderly neighbor/friend. She goes to the library to do 2 hrs of volunteer work, so I had her drop me off to pay a bill downtown. When she left, I went to Dunkin' Donuts to get a maple glazed and coffee. They had no maple glazed, so I got one of those cake donuts covered in peanuts. I then met her at the library, and we usually go for lunch and run errands after 1pm. Well, today, we went to Dairy Queen for lunch. She decided she was just going to have a small sundae. So, I ordered the waffle cone pumpkin ice cream treat....the thing was HUGE, HUGE!!!!! The cone was enormous. The top half of the cone was dipped in hot chocolate sauce, the cone was filled with pumpkin ice cream and topped with whipped cream. I couldn't even eat all the cone. Of course, the price for this "little treat" was 4.29...oh, my !!! I have remained in sugar shock for the remainder of the day, and have absolutely no appetite tonight.   I may have something "lite" before bed, but even that may be too much.

Morning,

AC back on. Fall has left the area. But, my garden sure loves it.

Today's Cooking ... a few things going on.

Lady #1: Requested. Snow crab for she and a friend; broccoli slaw; creamy lemon pasta; fresh fruit

Lady #2: Crab quiche; baby greens salad w/fresh fruit and a citrus vinaigrette

Me: A co-worker is coming over after work. It's his b'day and his family is out of town; so, I said I would feed him, :). So, leftover sauerbraten dinner from Sun night; and I'll probably make some carrots or a salad too.
