A glorified mac and cheese bake with penne, kielbasa, onion, and apples. I also stepped it up and used leftover Tillamook garlic white cheddar cheese that was leftover from turkey day snacks. YUM!

Boy, that sounds good!

I ended up making a Zatarain's boxed dinner - alfredo chicken  I did allow myself one LITTLE dinner roll with light butter since I made the dinner with 1% milk  And had to eat by myself to boot, DH is running late! Oh, well. It really doesn't happen often here that he is there past 8:30.

Since I can't imagine I'll get up early enough to post before work tomorrow, and I already know my plan...

Back to work, doing wardrobe for Les Miserables for the week. Which means for dinner I'm heading across the street to the Bull's Head Tavern to have the "dinner" they've created for me. It's actually three appetizers, but they put them all on one plate: seared sashimi tuna, deep-fried calimari (complete with tentacles), and crab cakes. Comes with red pepper aioli, marinara, and wasabi remoulade as well as focaccia toast points, diced red onion and diced tomatoes.

Home alone, Dh on business in the USA. This is now his new job.

Church, I went one step further & put icicle lights on the inside windows draping at the top only. Very nice effect.

Denise the addition of red sounds nice. I will consider this for next year.I will send Dh your best, lol.

I am down sizing I am not putting up the "big" tree & had Dh purchase a small tree that sits on a table. Everyone want the "big" tree up every year & promised to help. That never happened.

Felix, this bar across the street? Is this not the bar that makes that wonderful burger?

Dinner? Well it is only me but I am expecting Dh home tomorrow? So maybe I will work on that dinner. It will be chicken with mashed potatoes.

Lights sound pretty Nin

I got rained out yesterday to finish outside, so finishing inside. Today is 68 and beautiful.

Dinner, Spaghetti Ham Casserole. Easy, made with canned soup (which I don't use very often), sour cream, spaghetti, ham and olives. Easy and delish. Tomato slices on the side. Tuna or this was last night, so I sort of switched them around.

Need to take over soup and bread to one of the ladies along with a salad. But they had plans this week, so ... easy for me.

After this week, planning for me becomes a bit crazy, a few parties, other obligations, so I still cook for the ladies, but my dinners I really try to use leftovers and do very easy meals since it is just me and there are too many other things to take care of.

LOL, just not my favorite thing. It's okay. But it makes DH so happy when he hears we're having red meat, it's kinda sad and pathetic, really
