Nope, I'm home now. He had his surgery last Tues, was released Fri. I got there on Fri and he was doing fantastic. I stayed until Mon, headed home. I am so pleased with how great he's doing.

Thanks, girls! I cannot believe how well Dad handled his surgery. He's carting around like a 65 year old

And yes, we got word while I was gone that our offer on the house was accepted - WAHOOO!!!!!! So closing on March 30th. Chaos at this house, lmao.

Congrats Denise! We are having chicken enchiladas with green sauce and ricotta cheese. It's an interesting twist but we really like it.

Probably I should have called in sick to work. But I'm not dead yet, and I need the money. Tonight I'm having poached eggs on toast with warm milk poured over them. It's about all I feel like. Killer sore throat, my voice is three octaves too low (if I can talk at all), chills, aches...blech.
