You definitely got a point Felix. I feel sorry for those who have had too. I never had to evacuate ... but I have been without power and flooded a couple of times with fish, snakes, and alligators in my street.

We went with out power for 5 days when the Eastern seaboard shut down. I was thankful it was Summer so we did not freeze.

Thank you so much. Considering I had to get up at 3am to make the lunches; I'm a bit tired.Would of at least tried to sleep in,lol.

Would love to hit the beach; and may, just for a quick walk later. I just finished all the soups and need to put the relish tray together before heading home.

Catering Lunch:
Soup Buffet - Beef Barley; Pototo with Chicken; Bean, Kale, and Mushroom Soup.
A few garnishes; breads and rolls; and an old fashioned relish tray with pickles, onions, olives, marinated veggies; etc.

Lady #3:
Sweet and sour pork, served over jasmine rice; fruit salad; and coconut cream pudding

Me:
I may have to work; so I am not totally sure. The ladies bought me a gift certificate to my fave sushi place for my b'day. So I may just run down and get that and bring it home. I still don't feel great; so take out may be the way to go.

As you get older birthdays just aren't what they use to be. It was nice of the Ladies to give you a gift. Have a great day, I am sorry to hear you are still not feeling that well.

I don't really have any cold or flu, just not feeling good. Probably NO sleep hasn't helped at all.

The Ladies are so sweet. They gave it to me Monday. I was very very happy.
I know my son will forget ... he never remembers; but that's ok. He's still mad at me.

I enjoy remembering peoples birthdays. I wish them to feel special no matter their age.

Sorry about your Son. Then again I am sure he would not wish you to forget his? Church enjoy your day with whatever comes including work, lol.

Happy birthday, Kim!

Well, another rainy day here. Sigh. Seriously molding. I made parmesan baked chicken last night, DH didn't get home until 9, so we didn't eat until 10. He is on 12 hour+ days due to the other manager quitting. I am tired of it, LOL. He is going to try and get out of there at 6 tonight, so I am thinking cocktails and then just some turkey brats and baked beans.

Happy bday kc!

I am making Chicken & Dumplings tonight, possibly with some potatoes on the side. Also making a chocolate layer cake birthday cake. (Birthday request for m bf). Carb attack tonight!

I am kind of winging the chicken & dumplings - hope it turns out right. Trying to recreate a family memory that I have not tasted, since this will be different from the way I have made Chix & Dumplings before.

Happy Bday to BF.
That sounds like a good request tome.

You can make me brownies ... no icing and send them via email for my day, lol

Have a great dinner, I am sure it will be great!
