Thank you Felix! A taxi arrived & I was in the kichen. I saw it leaving so thought Dd was here? I guess he was just turning around. Someone wants to play with me.

Yes Felix I am the Mother that will make a fool of you in front of all your friends. Today I am prime, lol.

Nin, have fun! I know you will.

Felix, your fruit salad looks delish.

Morning All! Cloudy here, but will be sunny later. No rain again and warm. AC also works at night and I can get it down to 74 (I freeze), but during the day - even with AC on full blast the temp gets as high as 88, by 7 or 8pm. Then it takes all night to lower again. With the heat of the day, it won't cool. Repair guy here SAT am. I'll live till then.

Dinner, let see ...

Lady #3: 2 large ham steaks with a currant mustard glaze; mashed parsnips with goat cheese and chives; garlic sauteed kale. For dessert, gingered spice cake

Me:
Work, but I made the burgers for my Velveeta Rotel burger last night. I ended up only having 1/2 of one because I ate too much macaroni salad. So tonight, I am taking the other 4 patties I made to work and will make them for the boys.

One of the guys said he would pick up some chips, I have a jar of my refrigerator pickles; and I will make a salad with my garden tomatoes. Should be a good way to use up some stuff in the fridge.

You know what, Ninner? It's kinda cute when it's not me and also not my mother.

As for here...it's cold, and I don't like it. Monday it was about 95F. Today it is all of 59F. And I'm still working, so dinner is still stupid. Tonight on the way home I'm stopping to pick up some ribs (on sale for $2.49/lb this week), but that doesn't help me with tonight's dinner. I'm leaning toward some fruit salad (thanks, Church!), maybe some pizza rolls, and possibly some yogurt and/or a fiber bar.

Afternoon Everyone,

Last night's buffet was a lot of fun. I had 5 extra guests but no problem as I always make more then I need. Many bottles of wine were drank & I was feeling the pain this morning. As I laid in bed I could hear Dd leaving for work at 5am & I was glad it was not me.

Today has worked out well with her at work as I could get the house put back together. We have still not received any rain but the gardens did look lovely for my dinner.

Felix, lol on the cute. You should have seen the two of us out front when she arrived. Dd sobbed & I cried. I think the 2 strangers walking by thought we were cute? Also I made her bed & cleaned up her room this morning, lol.

Dd is sleeping at the moment then we are going to dinner at Early's. Very nice place with lots of atmosphere. We are hoping to eat on the patio but they say we might get rain? Heard that for over 2 weeks.

Here is the New Dinner thread for tomorrow, June 1st.
