As I suspected, the wicked bad headache I started developing last night is now a migraine. Luckily, it's a pretty little one as I'm not throwing up and sunglasses are helping enough so I don't have to build a cave in my bedroom. At any rate, I'm not pushing my luck, and dinner will be chicken noodle soup and crackers.

Morning All!

Well ... crutches suck. And I honestly think I step on my foot just as much as I did without them. But, oh well. Still hurts, but not taking anything; and I had a 1 1/2 hr massage yesterday which really helped my back; much much better. That was really the only thing that hurt.

Last night, I had to have spaghetti vs lasagna. I took out the container with the sauce rather than the lasagna rolls with the sauce. So, cooked up some noodles and spaghetti it was. Same salad and it was still very easy.

Tonight ... A variation on the tuna nicoise salad
I have a small tuna steak in the freezer, I also have 3 baby reds (already cooked) and I cooked a couple of eggs (hard boiled) this am. So, I guess a mix of spinach and romaine, eggs, tomato, red onion, the spuds, capers, and tuna and I may throw in some green beans too (frozen, but they may not be too bad) Tuna on the grill so no clean up

I can sit and chop, so that is pretty easy to prepare. Besides, I think a nice healthy salad would be nice ... and the kitties may get a little tuna too!

Kim, I feel so bad for you, what a mess!

I made fish tacos last night, tonight will either be burgers or pizza delivery. PRAYING to get the keys to the new house today. Closing was this morning, all went well. I have champagne chilling for the big event, I need keys!! :D If we get the keys, will probably be pizza :D

Thx D and Congrats! What a great feeling that will be.

I would do red wine and pizza ... but champagne works :)
Moving on the other hand is not fun ... but I know you are close by. For me ... I had a 40' moving truck filled to the top. I don't travel light.

It will be so nice to own your own home. Do you still have a view of the lake, your back yard was so nice; now you can make it your own.

Yes, the ankle is a mess ... but oh well ... roll with the punches right?

I'm making pea salad, because I want some, and...some meat...I've got to look in the freezer to see what I've got.

Wait! No! I've got a ton of canned beans, and ground beef. I'll do a variation of my http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/pantry-stew. Perfect!

I am eating out tonight!!! Yippee! I have list in my diet book of suggestions so I can keep my focus on low carbing. I most likely will get something to take home though - I find it so much easier to watch my portion size when I get the boxes home and divide everything up into smaller portions.

So now the question is what do I want... Asian? Indian? Mexican? I have quite a few nice places to choose from. Decisions...

Thanks, y'all! We have been renting for three years now and I am so ready to own my own home again!

Kim, lmao on the red wine. I'm not a huge fan of champagne, just a celebratory glass. Then red wine, LOL. I love red wine with pizza, that is what I always have.

Edit to add - Yes, we have an even bigger lake and more private lot. Will post pics soon!
