Morning Everyone!

Another night of midnights - Tired!!!!!

Going over to a friends for a Movie and Dinner. They are treating! SUSHI, since I didn't get to have it this week. Just take out. I am taking an Asian inspired salad and a bottle of wine.

I hope you guys up north aren't getting hit too bad with the snow. Down here - still no rain, only 72 today, but back to the 80's all next week.

I am incredibly jealous that you get sushi!! Normally between shows on Saturday, that's what I do. But this show...this one is special. I'll be lucky to get a bare hour off between shows. I realize it doesn't take that long to order and eat sushi, but I refuse to be rushed in my eating of it.

So...I found a piece of spinach and mushroom quiche in the freezer, which I'll be having along with some yogurt, a few slices of fresh mozzarella rolled with fresh basil and prosciutto, and some grapes.

Felix, I'll have a piece for you. There is this great place that has the most unique rolls. Even a couple that have a tempura coating, but fried so fast. The entire inside is still RAW and cool. Not cheap, but it is a nice treat since I don't eat out much, this is something I don't make, so it is fun. My friends are treating and it isn't far from the house, just 5 minutes. So take out it is. Even with take out, they plate it just like in the restaurant with fresh orchids on each dish. We usually get 6-7 different rolls and then just mix it up. I am definitely a sushi-aholic. But agree, I like to take my time to relax and eat it slowly. The restaurant also has a slightly sweet dip, not just soy, that is really good - it has more of a chili sauce type of heat vs the traditional wasabi. I get both. Yes, it will be pig out night.

Name your bite Felix, sashimi, tuna, salmon, spicy tuna roll, eel, mackerel, spicy shrimp with avocado and mango, tuna, pineapple and yellow fin? One bite for you.

But, nothing wrong with quiche and the mozzarella; sounds pretty good to me.

I had leftover pumpkin orange pancakes that I made on Tuesday night. They were really yummy and tasted just fine reheated in the microwave tonight.

I've just put mine together for tomorrow, when technically we have absolutely zero time between when the first show ends and we have to be working to prep the second show. I'll be having some vanilla yogurt, a dark chocolate almond fiber bar, and what I believe is either my Pantry Stew or Tomatoey Chicken Stew.

This is the disadvantage of never writing on the containers when I freeze stuff. It becomes lunch bag lotto when I go to work.

Church, I would gladly take a bite of anything that is not eel. But the spicy shrimp, avocado and mango sounds really, really good! The place I go here does one that is mango, cream cheese and avocado and it is amazing!

Morning Everyone!!

Felix - Sushi was amazing last night. Great friends, food, drinks and a movie. Nice and relaxing. I swear I could eat sushi almost every day if I could.

Today, cloudy, chance of rain, but warm. Finished power washing and need put everything back on my porch, otherwise ... time to clean the house and catch up on some paper work.

No Soup today, I still have 3 containers in the freezer.
Bread ... White bread, nothing fancy
Dinner:
Barbecued Chicken Breasts]/url], using thighs; [url=http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/swedis ... ckspotatis]Swedish Baked Potatoes Hasselbackspotatis; and roasted baby carrots with just olive oil, seasoning and herbs.

And hopefully, the rain will hold off during grilling !

Saturday night we had lobster macaroni and cheese. It wasn't good and after one bite I choose to have fruit and vegetables instead. I actually felt I must not like macaroni and cheese but I found out that's not it. I had mac and cheese for lunch yesterday and liked it.

Last night was much better. We had coconut shrimp and cole slaw. We will be buying this again.
