Morning Everyone!

Well, and interesting day yesterday; between work, errands; and then, I decided to change dinner plans. My steak dinner was yummy. I topped my steak with A1; green beans with lemon pepper, and stouffers potatoes au gratin. Same thing Mom used to make for me, I requested it year after year.
I sat down to watch a movie I rented; then, the power went out. So, I thought, I will go to the movies. Car was stuck in the garage and manual pull is broken. So, I was stuck. 5 hrs with candles and nothing to do.
Didn't sleep well, didn't feel good this am; and really don't even want to think about dinner. ;)

Tonight, I planned egg rolls and egg drop soup; maybe. I also have stuff for grilled chicken, balsamic onions, and pasta; or, the leftover steak as a quesadilla.
Very indecisive today!

Sorry you had such a bad day, kc.

I made the Sicilian pizza tonight and it turned out quite well. I think I now have a method I like, just need to sub in my dough and a few others touches to suit our tastes. Very happy though - my BF ate nearly half the pan! I don't know where men put all the food they eat. I was completely stuffed after 2 slices.

Glad you got a good pizza HF. My day wasn't that bad ... just nothing worked out. I'll live trust me. I have had worse.

NO egg rolls, NO chicken, NO quesadillas.
Decided on sauteed mushrooms over the leftover steak, heated up the salmon, onion rings, and the few green beans leftover. Tomato slice and done. 10 minutes to make.
It is just what I felt like; and considering it is my birthday ... I don't care!!! lol

I had no internet for 6 hrs today on and off, power too. Right now, just glad to have both working. Heading out of town tomorrow for some R&R.

Hiya Zelda!

Hope your pizza was good Heather. KC your bd dinner sounds good. Deepster, I have days like that, eat later and then don't really want supper, so sort of snack.

Heather, so happy your birthday meal worked out. Sounds delicious!

Zelda I haven't had papa murphys in a long time. Some of their stuff is really good.

We had burger king. On the way to the casino, didn't want to get there hungry and eat the $17.99 a person buffet. I had the carolina bbq whopper, hubby just ate the whopper meal.

Morning Everyone!

Was supposed to head up to my friends today for some R&R; but, my friends back is bothering (from an old injury). So much for our plans. I'll probably do a quick run to the Farmers Market; a few things around mi casa; and maybe sunset at the beach tonight.

As for dinner, not sure. I would like to make the egg rolls and egg drop soup tonight; but, one of my friends called and asked if I wanted to go out for happy hour. So, not sure.

Leftover veggie lasagna tonight, which we had a couple of nights ago. Almost all of the birthday food was already gobbled up. The only thing still lurking is the rest of the wine I bought for the sauce to go on the chicken (since neither of us really drinks wine much if at all). I might make some wine jelly or something like that.
