Posting early because I probably won't take my laptop to work with me in the am. One is in the shop just getting a hinge replaced; and this one has been acting up terribly.

Not sure, done everything I can; it is the oldest one; but the one I don't use too much. We will see; it is usually the one I travel with.

OK ... So morning All
Yes, 1 am!

Making a pot of chili for a good friend; just the basic, beef, bean, veggie chili (my recipe). Just a good friend, and it is her B'day! And she loves chili; so chili and corn bread will be delivered to her. Hubby is out of town; and the kiddies won't like chili; but I made a mild sloppy joe for them with a fruit salad and some veggies and dip.

Tues dinner is just me ...

But, I got to work. I'm going to try to make my pasta I would of had last night and take it with me.
Thin spaghetti tossed with chicken, sun dried tomatoes, artichokes, onions, garlic, olives, etc. A little broth and wine. Finished with Feta. I should be able to take it for me and maybe a co worker.
Artichoke spread on the side which is already made for the crusty bread which I can do on the grill at work.

We'll have to see how the day goes.

Morning,

A day of errands which I will start shortly. Dinner will be the veg soup & homemade bread. I still need to make the soup & hopefully that will get done?

Felix sorry to hear about your appointment.

Still watching Issac on the Weather station. My Cable company has managed to fix their e-mail problem very late last night. I wonder what that was all about?

Crazy isn't it?
The blood test is to make sure I really did quit and I'm not lying about it so she'll do the surgery. I've not been forced to quit with either of the two surgeries I've had in the last two years, either. The difference with this one is that they're cutting into (and removing part of) the bone, and I have a history of blood clots. Smoking increases the risk of infection and also developing clots, so she wants it done.

I can do it, it just wasn't on my agenda for the near future. And it's gonna SUCK!!!

Dinner tonight will be something downtown. I'm working an unknown show in one of our exhibit halls today starting at noon.

Sorry, Felix and thx for sharing; Now I understand.

Don't you just love-hate unexpected problems. I have had my share as well. OVER IT! Well, I hope you can get the surgery done, because I know it is been bothering you - especially when you on your feet a lot.

The kids weren't home last night and the hubby was sick so I ate a bowl of veggies instead of the planned dinner so that's moved to tonight. Curry turkey burgers with thai cole slaw.

So when I got home from work at 5pm, I didn't have a plan for dinner because I wasn't going to be eating at home. :?

Ended up making a variation of Pantry Stew. It works.

Morning All!

Bad day yesterday; didn't feel good (don't know why) and then extremely busy. Last night, I didnt sleep well easy; so today will be a long day. :(

Lunch Catering:
Mustard coated roasted tenderloin sandwiches on a good artisian bread; topped with pickled onions, swiss cheese, and a horseradish sauce.
On the side, a pesto potato salad.

Ladies #1 and #2: Plans with their development.

Me: Work but, depending on how the day goes ... beer can chicken, a corn and black bean quesadilla, or maybe my meatloaf sandwich w/fries.

Morning,

Today I will continue with the veg soup & the field tomatoes.

Church, I now want a meatloaf sandwich.

Weather here is cooler but the humidity is still high. Tomorrow we start back into very hot temps. Sunday & Monday the last long weekend of the Summer will bring us rain from Issac.
