Same here, 4 1/2 of sos over and over. I was proud 10 sec too. I know it is a big deal, but wow. It was just so long and 95 degrees to boot with a light drizzle

Well - the grand plan was to make sausage stuffed portobello mushrooms as my main dish tonight, and then I was planning to save one for breakfast tomorrow morning.

I opened the package of mushrooms and they were all watery and gross underneath, so I tossed them. They had looked fine in the package, with even non-slimy tops. No more shrink wrapped portobellos for me.

So there I was with my sausage all thawed already. I browned it up, mixed it with some leftover pasta sauce, steamed some broccoli, served Faux pasta with sausage meat sauce (the broccoli was the "pasta") . It tasted good but the broccoli doesn't really catch or soak up the sauce, making it a bit messy to eat.

Morning everyone!

Dinner last night and tonight got switched. I ran out of time and then ended up going to a friends house later.

I ended up sauteing some bacon and shallots and making a hot bacon like dressing over spinach, a toasted baguette, fried egg and roasted tomato slice. Easy and light.

Tonight will be the Greek mac and cheese with grilled pork chops.

We got a very nice unexpected rain yesterday, so one less thing I have to do today (water that is). But unfortunately, my door I painted has to now be re-painted. The storm blew in so fast and unexpected. So, I guess I will be doing that today as well. At least until later today, it is warm and sunny out. More showers this afternoon they think.

Dinner last night ended up being NOTHING until almost 8pm when I begged Dan to stop at Steak & Shake again on the way home. We had lunch at 11:30am ("catering": bag lunch of ham or turkey sandwich, bag of chips, and a cookie), and dinner was served at 4:30pm per our contract. However, NO ONE thought of the spot ops or those of us in the booth, so we got NOTHING!

Sorry. I'm still pretty mad about that. When they didn't bring us food for dinner like they did for lunch, I figured it would be there when we got downstairs, since that's how it usually works. Nope. Came down, and the tables had been completely cleared of everything, including bottled water.

Today I'm bringing a sandwich, some yogurt, a granola bar, and a can of pineapple chunks. Because I simply cannot go more than nine hours without eating, especially when I'm working.

Afternoon,

It has been a busy day so far. Throwing out lots of things as garbage day is Tuesday.

Used my Shark Steamer for the first time. It has been sitting here in the box for two months. Used it in the main bathroom but I am a little disappointed as it did not work on all areas. The problem being is the hard water reside in some areas. Any advice on that ??????

We did get our reservation for the Italian last night so my leftovers will be Mondays lunch. Lunch today is finishing the veg soup with cheese bread that I made this morning.

Dinner tonight will be cottage pie with mashed potatoes on top & a salad. Serving hot peppers for a kick.

Holy crap! They not only made food, but they cycled us out on breaks so we could actually eat it! :D

Lasagna, garlic bread, salad, and either cookies or brownies for dessert. :)

Morning everyone,

Last day of the month. I will start a new thread for May later in the day.

Felix, glad to hear you got feed & enough time to eat. Sounds like a nice meal.

Warmer here today but raining. I will continue with my clutter as it is garbage day tomorrow.

Dinner? I have a little of cottage pie, mac & cheese plus Italian from Sat. night dinner.

Off to deliver the finished government taxes which are due today.

Anyone have any suggestions for my "Shark Steamer" hard water problem?

I have always used vinegar to get rid of hard water spots, but you would have to spray it. You can put anything in the steamer. I don't know if that helps.

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser also works pretty good too.

Dinner, I have to work tonight, so I am just going to take some of my mac and cheese that I had last night. Something I just microwave.

Thanks Church! I purchase vinegar by the gallon & I have a "new " eraser. Yesterday I used the LCR & that helped but did it stink. I did not know that I can put anything in the sprayer??

One more question. I was scared that I might crack the glass shower door at 212 degrees so I cleaned it by hand ???????

Well, all my girlfriends just left  There is a ton of food left over, so not really sure yet. I have a pound of ham in the fridge and mini slider rolls, so it may just be ham sliders and chips. Or, since I haven't cooked much, maybe bacon wrapped chicken and some pasta. We shall see.
