Back from Canadian Tire. I did not have a new furnace filter. Not that I am turning on the heat yet!!!!!!!! temp at 10.48am is 58.3F. I will need a filter soon. Covered up the A/C outside unit this morning which is never a good sign.

I purchased a LED flashlight for a girlfriend. One of those heavy ones, black not a bad price on sale at $7. So it is always about presentaion which means I will make the packaging look very pretty.

Time for me soon to get on with making Brunch. Dinner prep is done. Watermelon still not taking in anymore vodka.

Last day of the circus, which means we only have two shows today and I could sleep in until almost 8:30! It's sunny, but cold (53F). Dinner tonight will with any luck at all be a rack of spicy BBQ ribs from my downtown former haunt after the second show. Haven't been there in a hundred years.

Edit:
OR...Bergy's pictures of the jalapeno cheese stuffed burger reminds me that I'm working next to the bar with the fabulous stuffed burgers the size of my head. And, since I'd be out of work I could actually have a beer with one. Decisions, decisions...

Fried rice got cancelled. I found some sausages I cooked for the pizza the other night that need to get used up first. Decided to toss them into some spaghetti sauce instead of meatballs. So tonight will be spaghetti & sausage with garlic bread and salad.

Turtle Pie for dessert for the family.

You know this is funny as Felix posted before me & there was no way I could have gone to C/T & back at 9.57am. Plus the fact I read Felix's post prior to posting but it shows I am posting before her????????

Heather your dinner sounds good. I would be on my way but have guests.

NO, rain today, although it is needed; able to do the ham and leftover zucchini casserole on the grill. NO clean up. Yippee! Ham leftover for ham salad this week

Probably chicken fried rice for dinner tonight or some other creation made from leftovers. I have plenty of raw meat I bought yesterday that I have to still deal with to get ready for my freezer, but part of the day will be spent taking my car in. Depending on how long the car stuff takes, I will cook or not cook some meals ahead for my freezer.

I really hate car repairs.

More car repairs HF, so sorry.

Morning Nin,

Where did the weekend go? Doing some software updates for work today, so that will keep me busy. Cloudy right now,

Catered Lunch: Crock pot Mexican ragu, very easy to make (recipe posted on another site), but I need to post it here; served over grilled cheesy polenta and cilantro; jicama slaw on the side

Ladies #1 and #2: Family in town, so no cooking

Me: Not sure, I have a few and scallops left in the freezer, also some slaw mix, always have romaine, tomatoes, etc on hand; rice, pasta etc.
I'm thinking a big salad with the grilled shrimp and scallops or one or the other. Or maybe a shrimp stir fry - no rice, just the veggies, peppers, water chestnuts, etc. As you can see, I really don't know

I also have tortillas, black beans, corn and shrimp which would make an awesome quesadilla.

Decisions, Decisions!

I hate the alarm going off on Monday morning. My first thought is always, BUT IT'S SUNDAY!!!!!, which of course it is not. :P

Just 2 of us for dinner tonight. Damian (the 18 year old) works a long shift at McDonalds, and Kip (the husband) is going to Monday Night Football tonight. I think Dominick and I will just eat leftovers or whatever. I used to call these silly dinners when he was very young and he still refers to them that way which I think it pretty darned cute.

wine, sugar, sticky NOT good Nin. I had to get a new one, but mine isn't working well either, space bar issues. I now have in backup in the closet. Separate from the laptop, but it does work. I have 2 spare mice too. I have learned.
