Gravy, I love how people call that gravy, LOL. I'm from MI, gravy is brown,:)
But, I love your reference to it. I know many of my friends call it gravy too!

My dinner last night ... it was a semi casserole.
I took boil in bag rice, leftover smoked chicken freezer, Campbells cream of mushroom, some seasoning blend (onions, celery, peppers), peas, broth, wine, ... and presto ... Top with bread crumbs, cheese and casserole.

All in all, NOT bad. Crazy combo, but it worked.

FYI, love baby bellas.
Dessert ... I hate to say, don't look to me. I am NOT a dessert gal. Very rare. But, I do love fruit for dessert. Wish I could help you.

I do have a good NO flour chocolate cake; and a couple of frozen pies; but, otherwise ... my friends no better NOT to ask me about desserts. But, many here who can help with that, just not me, lol.

Cucs, I got 6 from the farmers market ... so I love cuc salad. Always a bit different; but, love them. I have some growing right now; but, just started.
I'm a big salad gal; so, love salads with dinner or for dinner.

FYI ... just thought I would post.

I work part/full time at one job; but, a second job is cooking for 3 ladies. Elderly, with health issues that prevent them from cooking. Anyways, 2 live within 2 blocks, the other within 2 miles. So, I cook for them 2-3x/wk. So, when I say Lady #1 or #2, #3, etc. That is what I mean.

Just thought I would let you know. Every week is different; but, we have fun; they are wonderful ladies.

So, I often post their menus too. I cook for them during the week; but, every Friday they have a game card night which I normally do. It's a lot of fun.

I'm like you nanny, just me; but, I have a couple of poker guys and a couple of gf's that may stop over. I try to use everything I have. 1 big a** steak, lol can give me 4-5 dinners; I smoked 2 chicken and got tons of meals out of them. And, I took the remaining thigh and wing today and made chicken salad. Had some for lunch w/crackers; and, enough for tomorrow too.

The casserole 4 out of 5, not bad, Thx.
Thin pizza ... maybe. I like medium or thick. But, sorry I won't call it pie. It's a MI thing, where I am from. My friend always calls it pie. I just laugh ... maybe I should bring a can of redi whip next time she orders pizza, :)

Well, was supposed to have some minor surgery on my eye lids (skin tags); but, I blew it off. Doctors tend to make me nervous, like really nervous. So, since I can see just fine; I guess my friend will not have to cover for me; and, cook for the ladies.

Ladies #1, #2, plus 12 - Cocktail Party: they make their own drinks; and, I am taking 2 mixed nuts for them to snack on. http://www.recipezazz.com/…/baked-shrim ... -appetizer…; http://www.recipezazz.com/…/mixed-olive ... ic-butter-…; http://www.recipezazz.com/rec…/puffed-b ... balls-6471; gazpacho shooters; smoked salmon stuffed deviled eggs; prosciutto wrapped asparagus, and a grilled veggie platter w/roasted red hummus and a classic green goddess dip; Greek lemon chicken and artichoke bites on a toothpic w/tzatziki; dessert wine; marinated fruit with mascarpone cups; Italian cookies
Did most of the prep last night; so my friend wouldn't have much to do. But, now, it's just me, and I just a few things to finish up.

Me: Leftover chicken casserole from the other night; I think I will add some broth and maybe some more cheese; cucumber corn tomato salad

Thx, Lady #4 you can be, lol.
They are fun to work for.

I had a couple days of leftovers; and, yesterday a working lunch.
Tonight, a baked Italian style catfish, topped with tomatoes; and served over fettuccine alfredo. And, a cucumber salad on the side.

One of the ladies; making Grilled salmon patties w/lemon aioli; fennel, cucumber, and broccoli slaw; baked potato wedges; fruit
