Morning!

Very easy today. Love of yard work and painting to do. So, keeping it simple.

Lady #2+2: Roasted olives to start; pasta carbonara; anchovy crostini; caesar salad; flan

Olives all mixed up in a pan ready to roast. Anchovy butter done; caesar dressing done; and, flan baking. The rest will take just minutes.

Me: Chili (freezer stash) topped baked potato w/cheese and sour cream; more strawberries. My friend stopped by last night and brought me 3 more qts.

I've already made freezer jam; and, I don't eat sweets ... so, I am eating them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, lol.

Morning!

Where is everyone? Pretty quiet lately.
Well, today is pretty easy for me. Had a great time at my friends St Patty party last night. Ate too much!

Today ...
Lady #3: A salmon and asparagus quiche from another side; tomato slices; citrus salad

Me: I'm thinking a simple pasta w/tomatoes, spinach, cream and fresh herbs (nothing too heavy or cheesy); salad

Morning ...

I'm prepping the veggies for all the ladies and my, Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner tomorrow. Baking 3 loafs of soda bread, and making 3 pies. It's an old stand by recipe; but, sorry it isn't posted. It originally was from another site. And Grasshopper pie, also another site, sorry. I only make it once a year; so, I just have never got around to writing it up.

My dinner - I have just enough leftover pasta from last night; and, probably a bowl of strawberries.

served over fettuccine noodles.
I know it's not Irish,but it's what I want.

Shapes NO CBC ... but you are going to wear green right? :o

Afternoon all. Sorry, been outside painting and yard work. Posted stuff early, then comcast booted me off, so I gave up trying. It's working now; and, a quick lunch break. Cheese (Irish of course), hard boiled egg (for some protein - no breakfast), and crackers ... green beer will be a bit later.

And, guess what's for dinner tonight?
CORNED BEEF AND CABBAGE of course
1 pot for Lady #1 and #2 who are eating together w/friends. http://www.recipezazz.com/…/sarasotas-c ... orned-beef… w/classic potatoes, cabbage, onion, carrots, creamy horseradish sauce and Irish mustard; Irish soda bread and grasshopper pie (sorry recipe from other sites); and, original Irish coffee. One friend is bringing some type of Irish cheese appie.

Lady #3 w/friends samething. And, me also w/a friend. But, the pie and bread is for my friend - I'll just pig out with the cbc and Irish coffee, lol.

Now, I just simple transfer the cbc dinner to 2 serving dishes; along with all the other goodies and drop off. I started mine a bit later; so, my dinner will be around 7 with a friend.

Easy peasy today! Pies and bread made yesterday.

Probably nothing. Fighting a cold. Maybe scrambled eggs.
My friend is taking care of cooking for my ladies the next few days.
