Afternoon; sorry, a bit late today.

Wrenched my upper back last night; so, don't feel great.

Lady #3: Baked stuffed pork chop; cabbage wedge w/creamy onion dressing; roasted baby carrots

Me: I was going to have another chop tonight; but, my back sort of took away my appetite. Maybe just some scrambled eggs.

Sue, leftovers always good; and, QB, sushi sounds great. I have a gift certificate from xmas to use.

It sux when you are in pain, I am the same, when in pain, I just don't feel like eating. I should be in pain more often, lol..

I had cabbage soup for lunch and for dinner I will be having turkey and tomato lettuce cups, I have to use up some of my freezer turkey stash.

Hate to hear you are in such pain, Kc. If you don't have a prob with Ibuprofen, it does wonders for me. I once hurt my lower back and a nurse told me to take 8 at once as that's what a Dr. would do. Then two or three every few hours for 24 hrs.
Hope you are feeling better soon.

Anyway, dinner tonight will be a spinach, avocado, cheddar and sausage frittata. I have both avocado and spinach that really needs to be used up like immediately. I may even do a double batch and cover and refrigerate enough for another tomorrow morning.

Thx guys, appreciate it. I take aleve today; hate taking anything. And, got to the chiropractor. It helped, unfortunately it is the ligament it will take a while. I have torn it before many times.

Jacuzzi tonight; and massage tomorrow which will help. I will take another aleve tonight.

It's usually bad a couple of weeks; then, starts to improve. Just got to push thru it without hurting it is all.
My bean bag (yes, bean bag) was in the garage; it used to be my sons. It's is bright lime green; but, it is great to keep in the garage on my work station side to sit on.

It has been wonderful and comfertable, lol.

QB, soup and salad cups sound wonderful; and deepster - you and I are both doing eggs. Your'es sound better than mine, lol.

I picked up a last minute overtime shift, called in at 5 AM so I grabed a bunch of stuff to make a salad for lunch. Dinner will be jail slop I guess, lol.

Glad to know I wasn't the only one up at 5am, QB. I was going to sleep until 630a, but got up since I was awake. I needed to go groc. shopping, and did, despite the fact that it was 3 below zero when I set out. I needed some kind of meat, but walking down the meat section is like a walk down memory lane. Whatever we have gained in gas prices being slashed has been more than offset by meat prices!!!!! It's rediculous  One thing I did decide on was 4 marked down pork chops, and they were no bargain!!!

Anyway, I'll do a chop tonight, fried, chopped tomato and onion in my fave Italian dressing, some leftover broc casserole and 1/2 baked sweet potato. I'm already hungry :D :D I wanted to put some navy beans on to soak tonight, so I did buy those......but here's the clincher.....one damned ham hock is now $5.00. I declined and picked up some smoked sausage. It'll be just as good in soup at 1/2 the price.

I can relate Deepster. I got a steak for me today; for later next week. 8.00. NOW, not that much; but, a small steak; and, 6 months ago; probably 5.00. I also got ground round; OMG, A FORTUNE. It's crazy. I got 4 2" thick pork chops cheaper than 2 so so steaks.
So expensive.

I have navy beans too to make a bean soup; I need to finish off a few containers first. Probably in the next month. But, I think your sausages will work great with the beans - whatever you decide to make.

I know what you're saying Kc, but dang, I recall maybe only a year ago when you could get an $8 steak and maybe get 3-4 meals. I could deal with that. But $12/lb now for good beef....shheeeesh! I'm "beef shy". Anyway, the chop is searing, and I'll be happy ;) ;)
