Morning!

Back from the market; it is gorgeous out today. Nice morning to wander around.

A friend is stopping over later to watch a little football; so, bean soup, cheese/crackers, tomato bruschette, maybe some salami. Something easy.

Shapes, I bought all the stuff for that Papa_D ham, onion, garlic, potato casserole today. I was going to do it tonight, but alas time is too short, and I'm TIRED :!: That's on the menu for tomorrow, now. I also bought stuff to do someone's white pizza, so that will be on the table in the next few days.....I'm too tired right now to even look up the recipe again. This is a "good" tired though ;). I still haven't decided on what's up for tonight.

Lots of yard work today. And some very heavy lifting / hauling. Exhausted. My friend stopped for dinner; and, we watched some football. Then, JACUZZI. Now, time to chill; as I only got 3 hrs sleep last night. I would like a bit more tonight if possible.

I did just put a chicken in the crock pot for some broth; a good deal on sale. Will be done bright and early.

At least it usually ends up only being 4-5 days! :D (This week is six.)

Tonight I'm having wine for dinner. Perhaps some crackers if I feel like getting out of this chair, and maybe some cheese if I feel like slicing it. Probably just wine. It's been a day.

We went out to eat with our good friends. We both went to Brainerd and met up at a restaurant. Grizzlys Bar and Grill

OMG it was so good. They have a big fireplace in the middle of the restaurant with all the meat cooking on a spitfire rotisserie. Just smelled like heaven in there.

I had walleye tacos and creamy wild rice soup, hubby had a burger and fries, Melissa had wild rice stuffed mushroom and a steak, and her hubby had a pulled pork sandwich with wild rice soup. OMG it was all so good. We were all tasting each others food. We also shared an appetizer of artichoke dip with chips and bread. Delicious! Love that restaurant. We even bought some t-shirts! So didnt cook tonight.

I just looked at the menu. OMG, I would eat there all the time. And, I don't eat out very often. I love that menu. Walleye, cheese curds, wild rice, and, all that wood smoked food ... That, is a place I would love. Casual, comfortable, and good food.

As much as I love my fish chowder, grouper sandwich, blue crabs, etc ... I do miss that type of menu. It is what I grew up on. Well, MI, didn't do wild rice as much or cheese curds; but, my best friend lived in WI, and my other one in MN - so, spent many weeks enjoying all their different foods and recipes in those neck of the woods.

I'm jealous, I would of really enjoyed that.

Morning!

Another chamber day in FL. Great to continue working in the yard. Need to get everything done before football starts.

Cooking only 2 dishes for Lady #4 today:
- Bacon wrapped chicken breasts; roasted parsnips/carrots; scalloped potatoes
- Pasta w/sausage roasted red pepper sauce; kale and cabbage salad w/walnut and a onion vinaigrette

Dinner, 2 choices.
Grilled steak, rice, balsamic portabello mushrooms, and fruit; or, Greek salad topped with tuna, and fruit.

I guess I will decide later on. Whatever I don't have tonight, I'll have tomorrow.
