Dis, you did mention Frog Legs ... ever tried them. I think you said no. Well, if you were chicken to try them ... LOL. They taste just like chicken. Really. They are delicious. They are like eating sweet little chicken legs. I haven't had them in a good 4-5 years; but, I love them. I keep meaning to make them. They are so good; but usually expensive, because they are just not in high demand.

My good friend wants to try them. He lives just north of me; and now and then, I house sit for him and his pups. Well, I told him a year ago I would make frog legs; I finally found a place that can order them for me. Next time ... I may make them. They are delicious; and fun.
But, back to crab ... Our Chinese Buffet, does have crab legs too. Never tried them there; only had their lunch once. But, many go for the crab "All you can Eat" special.

Someone told me Trader Joe's has them. I just got Buffalo Burgers there too. Haven't made those yet. Although I have tried them, and they are delicious. I'm hoping I can get frog legs there.

It honestly never occurred to me you could buy frog legs in a store. If we didn't catch them, we didn't eat them.

I doctored up the leftover fried rice from the other night, using the idea kc suggested in the food photo thread (I posted a photo of mine over there in her thread).

Went to the store yesterday and grabbed some ground sirloin, chicken breasts, and some country sausage. Will make either some meatloaf or the chicken breasts tonight - still working out what I want to do with the chicken, prob a light marinade.

Morning! Monday once again.
My friend is handling the ladies I cook for, at least 2 more weeks, which gives me a break.
Tonight, fixing a friends computer; and in return, he is bringing sushi!
No cooking

I'm making a variation of #recipe585. We have almost nothing in the house that isn't canned or frozen, and precious little of that. Grocery day is Wednesday (set in stone, unless I'm not the one who wants to change it), and I'm leaving on Thursday for the weekend.

I think pantry stew is a good choice. You normally go up north don't you? Are you going up there again? I bet the weather would be nice this time of year; although, you guys have a bit of a heat wave going on too. We are actually cooler than Minneapolis, CRAZY!

I haven't gone up to my sister's cabin in years...surprised you even remember that! I'm just heading to my niece's house for a few days, then she and the kids are going to help me with a craft show I'm doing on Monday in preparation for the craft show they're working for me in two weeks later that she volunteered to do so I don't lose an entire week's work for it.
It's supposed to be 95F with near 100% humidity today...we'll see.

I think I remembered it because my family always did a similar thing. I thought you went up just last year. It was at a cabin at a lake. Was that your nieces? You sounded like you had a great time.
Sounds like fun no matter what. A few days away - always a good thing. Yep, I thought it was hot. Sorry. It is 95% hum here too, STICKY! I think you are going to cool off at least. NOT us. Not for a few more weeks.
Went to the beach yesterday am ... and OMG, I like hot ... but, it was warm. I'm just happy for the pool.
This time of year, I can't store anything in the garage ... or it starts growing, lol.
