I love a couple of good German Beers. Sounds like a great place.

Why does this woman need to eat every day?!? If it was up to me, I'd just make one of the envelopes of pasta sides and call it good. But I suppose I'll have to make something so mom doesn't go hungry. :?

I did accidentally defrost two packages of crab yesterday, so maybe I'll do something with that. I'd love to make simple crab salad sandwiches with soup, but mom can't have the bread. Probably I'll end up making gkwillow's crabby au gratin again. It's easy, and I've got the stuff for it. And since I've got about a million cans of vegetables, that should work out.

Edit:
Scrap that! I just had an idea for a new recipe. Crab casserole, which will be sort of like chicken a la king, but with crab and a bag of peas and carrots. Fingers crossed! :D

Better than Olive Gardens Alfredo Sauce over angel hair with grilled jumbo shrimp on top. Whole garlic clove garlic clove bread (and yes it is full of whole garlic cloves).
Something green.

Morning All!

A very cool day here, which for this time of year is odd. This is more like our winter vs our spring. Only 75 today and in the 50's tonight. Even cooler tomorrow. But sunny and breezy, so it is very nice.

I plan to make my soup today, Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup; and a tomato bruscetta. I hope that I can make time to get it done.

Busy day at work later, and a couple of conference calls this am, so it will be hard to fit everything in.

I have to laugh Kim, 75 is winter? psh! Enjoy the weather. ;)

Today is pork fried rice, I think. That is, if the pork is thawed and I have time to bake it and make the dish. I don't know, it's entirely likely that this won't happen, in which case it may be potato soup.

OK INV, I know 75 ... but that is like a nice winter for us which we didn't have. This year was 80's.

Today and tomorrow will be like winter for us - or maybe Fall, LOL

No complaints however.

Today I am lazy, and I don't care. So I'm defrosting one of the containers of Pantry Stew and calling it good enough.

It is freezing here too, high of only 68 today. WTH? I have a lot to do, may be ordering pizza. My four girlfriends will be here Friday through Monday morning and I haven't even unpacked half the household. Yikes!
