It's 5am, and reading this is making me hungry.

Another sleepless night. 12am night night ... 4am Morning! Some damn bird was yappin' away and just wouldn't shut up! He's still going at it. I think it is mating season - so, I'll leave the rest of the story up to you guys!

Well Morning to All!

Another HOT and sunny day in FL, about like everyone these days with the warm temps. 85 today and 87 tomorrow - and it is only March!

Enjoyed my second CBC meal (same as Sat) and just as good. I think I am addicted to CBC. Note to self ... Seek CBC Rehab after this weeks Reubens :)

Well dinner tonight is using the freezer once again. I have to head into work, and not too sure how long I will be, so something easy.

My Italian beef I made last week; I saved a couple of containers for the freezer.
I'll make a hoagie type of sandwich with melted provolone; fruit and maybe onion rings (depends how I feel).

I think we will do leftovers tonight. A little bit of this and that left from the last 3 nights of dinner so everybody will find something they like.

It's mom's 76th birthday today, and she's going out for dinner and to the local botanical/sculpture gardens. So...I'm doing breakfast.

Bacon, eggs (remains to be seen if they'll be scrambled or fried, I'll decide when they hit the pan), toast, and http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/quick- ... y-pancakes.

Dinner tonight will be carnitas. We do love Mexican food and the house will smell wonderful while it simmers.

I am in allergy hell, plus today starts Disney on Ice, which will be here through Sunday night. So...IF I get home from work at a decent hour, I'll be having soup. My throat is raw and I can't breathe. If I don't, odds are pretty good I'll just skip the soup and call Nyquil dinner.

Yes, I know Nyquil isn't supposed to be for allergies. But first thing in the spring I usually have to add cold medicine to my regular allergy pills because it gets bad. This year, what with the screwed-up weather and everything blooming so darn early, it's horrid.

Felix, I just saw all the reports on the weather channel for pollen. Unreal how bad it is all over.

Morning All!

Had a really restless night and woke up feeling YUCK - not sure why.

Lady #1 and #2: BBQ grilled salmon; grilled rosemary potato slices; and foil pouch grilled green beans

This morning I took out chicken thighs from the freezer along with a small container of gravy. I think - baked and serve with the gravy over my microwaved mashed spuds, and green beans in a foil pouch so easy and not much clean up.

We had a nice rain yesterday afternoon, and expected more today, a late afternoon shower. More like our afternoon summer showers, not March showers.

Felix, I agree! The pollen this year has been a lot worse than it usually is. I mentioned to my doctor yesterday that I have to do something for it. I now have to use prescription nasal spray on top of all the other medicines I take. Usually if I am put on something they almost never take me off it.
I did find out last night that I like some foods I don't think I like. We had fish sticks, which were good, and brussel sprouts which I always thought I hated. They were very good. When my mother used to cook them they smelled like feet.
This morning we got up at 2AM so Tom could leave around 3:30, He had to go make CBC for his work monthly meeting. I think tonight is going to be either take out, nuts or popcorn.
