Sounds good Dis.
I actually think I can turn off my lights ... that's a good thing, I think the rain is finally ending. The sun is peaking out - but my yard is a pond. Makes yard work a bit difficult.

Fish, I swear I could eat it almost every day. Love it. Luckily I catch a lot myself which saves on food costs. It can get pretty pricy.

I'm not doing dinner, I'm going directly to beer and hockey. Woke up and it was SNOWING. It's still snowing off and on, and we already had enough to shovel the sidewalks once today. Then I went to the doctor and it'll be another six weeks before I can start physical therapy, which means it'll be at least June before I can go back to work.

So...I'm gonna drink my dinner. I'm DONE with today.

I was in town today, despite the snow and wind!! Another fresh seafood store has opened in town, so I got to stop by there for a "intro" visit. It's a great addition the this small community.....Sushsi grade tuna and other fish. I settled on 2 doz. mussels. I am really too tired to prepare them tonight, even though it's not much work. So, into the bottom of the fridge they go with ice until tomorrow.

It's a good thing I got in and out of town when I did. We already had 3 inches of snow when I left this a.m., but the roads were clear. By the time I got home, snow was still falling sometimes heavy, and the temp had dropped from 32F to 22F. The roads are now covered, but I think the snow is about over...at least I hope.

Everyone eat well and stay warm tonight 8-) 8-)

Oh, and for my dinner tonight, I'll do some of Kc's buttered garlic spaghetti with some chopped black olives mixed in....and some good Italian bread :D

I made my crappies for lunch, with asparagus, cauliflower and broccoli that needed to be used up. I roasted the veggies in the oven. Delicious. I fried the fish coated with breadcrumbs and cornmeal. It was delicious.

For supper, I served fresh salad, leftover 15 bean soup, with leftover fish and leftover roasted veggies, but for dinner I added breadcrumbs, butter and Parmesan cheese to the roasted veggies and nuked. The veggies were delicious, everyone raved about those. So it was all leftovers for supper except for the salads. Delicious to say the least, mishmosh of stuff but still good! :D

Felix, sorry to hear about the dr's appt. Seems like it has been forever; and, I am sure you got to be just OVER IT. Enjoy your liquid dinner and hockey tonight. Hang in there.

Dis, Mis Mosh is always good. And love those crappies. Roasted veggies are just the best way to cook them. Mom, Dad and I always had meals like that; especially during the summer at our other home. Grandma and gramps were there, so it was a night of clean out the fridge.

Deepster, glad you got a nice seafood market. Fresh fish I love. Enjoy the spaghetti tonight, I like that recipe now and then. Simple and easy. Mussels sound like a great dinner tonight!

Morning -

Well, no rain yesterday, but SOAKED. Today, nice out, but COLD. 50 this am, and only 64 - that is cold for us. I'm not looking forward to doing more yard work.

Today's Cooking ...

Ladies #1 and #2: Zucchini, leek, herb, and ricotta stuffed manicotti; baked, with a tomato sauce on the bottom, and bechemel on top. Garlic bread and grilled romaine salad.

Me: Asian pork stir fry w/red pepper, broccoli, and peas (pork and peppers - freezer stash). Peppers from my garden this past year. Served over rice; fruit for dessert.

Veggie stuffed manicotti sounds delicious. Stir fry also sounds good. I have no idea what to have tonight, or if we will we be going out to eat with my Mom?

Put up two servings of my 15 bean soup into the freezer. Think we are done with that for now. ;)

Guess there are a few more hours until supper, so anything could happen!

It has been forever. The injury happened December 5th. ~X( Today I am better equipped to handle it, even though it means no trip to Tahoe this year, and trying to get through summer without unemployment (which is how I normally do it as I'm lucky to get 16 hours a week in summer, but since I haven't earned anything I won't get anything). Although I do wish they'd taken me seriously at the hospital when I asked them if they could just put me down like a horse. ;)

Dinner tonight is going to be a recipe from Taste of Home for poached fish with broccoli, along with a Kraft skillet recipe for quinoa with broccoli, cheese and bacon.

It's still snowing. I've decided to make it summer in my house, however, so I'm making my #recipe12170 (flank steaks this time, broiled) with #recipe10379 and the leftover rice noodles from t'other day.
