Well, completely forgot I had meatballs left. 3 of them with a little pasta. I added some of my roasted tomatoes and peppers I put up a few months ago. That with a little leftover tomato sauce was really delicious. A simple salad; and, finished up my parmesan dressing.

Tomorrow night, the lettuce wraps.

LOL!
I love a good chili dog; but no cheese and kraut for me is preferred. LOVE that kraut!

Sounds like a good dinner. Growing up ... Mom used to have to make 3 dogs. Chili and cheese for Dad. ME ... everything, especially kraut. And, she had chili on the side to dip; the pickles, kraut, and mustard with onions, lol. It was like a hot dog bar, :).

You could always sprinkle tums in a cold beer with dinner =)) =)) =))

Happy Wed Everyone!

Rainy late night and morning, still drizzling. And only 80 tomorrow. COLD front ... really that is a cold front. It was 100 heat index in some parts yesterday. Toasty.

I guess no yard work today; but work tonight.

Dinner, Ladies #1 an #2, still in their church seminar this week, so just me.

Since meatballs last night; the wraps tonight. Citrus chicken, avocado, red cabbage, onions; black beans on the side. Pretty easy, and light.
I've had steak, pasta, and beef ... so, this will be lighter which is good.

FYI, I had hardly any sauce, so added roasted red peppers and mix peppers in the freezer cooked with fresh herbs; added those and wine ... pretty good.

Kim, :-H
Adding the Tums to beer would be interesting to say the least.
As for kraut, I would love it but SO doesn't.
And I don't want to open a can or jar just for me.

Shapes, I almost have my own kraut in the freezer. Me and my friends make kraut each Fall. Right now, they are in my friends garage; waiting to ferment; then, we bag. We can't make it down here before Oct 15 because of the heat. We made them last week. They take 3 weeks, then, we bag them up. We did 4 5 gallon buckets. We use a food saver and bag them up; but, we each bag out own in what sizes we want. We end up with about 30 bags of kraut. I like to use the small snack size; and then the 1 qt. The small are perfect for just a couple of brats or dogs. I can't wait till it's ready to bag. We go through about 40 heads of cabbage, sometimes a bit more.

Short day today, only had to go to the office and got done at 4:00. I am honestly making Hamburger Helper. Except with ground turkey. In addition, I will be heating up a can of green beans, and microwaving some frozen mixed vegetables.

The dishes are still not done. We're eating with spoons.

Not sure if I could do liverwurst; but, I do love the sandwich idea. Bologna with fried onions would be good.
