I'm off from 4-9. Not only does that mean I took a desperately needed 45-minute nap, but apparently it means I'm expected to cook. So I sprinkled some boneless-skinless chicken thighs with low sodium teriyaki sauce and a mixture of Olde Thompson's Rustic Tuscan seasoning, salt-free seasoning, and garlic-sea salt seasoning and threw them in the oven. I'm going all-out on sides...canned sliced beets and some microwaved frozen mixed vegetables.

If she doesn't like it, she can start doing something in the kitchen when I'm working 70+ hour weeks. Washing dishes would be a start...apparently I'll be doing that tomorrow since I appear to be out of clean forks.

Gosh, Felix, you are not even getting time to "detox" and recuperate
That meal sounds fine to me :D Dang, I'd be so grumpy nobody would want to be around me. I surely hope you are getting some "stress-relief" moments while you are working 70(or plus) hours of a work week :D

I took tomorrow off, primarily because I have to go to the dentist at the same time they wanted me to work the lighting hang for our next opera. I'm just glad work is gradually building up to full time...it's been two years since I worked a full schedule since it was the end of last October I had surgery. ;)

Oh, my, it HAS been that long since the foot surgery....time flies. Glad you get tomorrow off. I missed that somehow in all the previous posts.

Felix, you are very patient with your Mom. I would hope that she would help out a bit more. You are working hard enough; Mom should help you out.

After the dentist, try to rest up a bit.

Morning everyone!

The extra chicken breast from the other night with the citrus marinade.
Going to add some red cabbage, onion, probably mango chutney, and the chicken of course; and make lettuce wraps. I also have an avocado too.
Black beans on the side.

Josh Groban today, and I had 2 1/2 hours off this afternoon. So I hightailed it over to Stella's for one of their amazing bacon and blue cheese stuffed burgers and crack fries. I am stuffed, and happy. And now I'm ready to do this show. :)
