Morning everyone,

I am late to the party again. I think I have come to whine. It is very early here & last night I made chicken Marsala, Church there was a white that was dry. The liquor place wanted to convince me that there was only a sweet. I insisted that I was informed that there is a white/dry. Now what am I to do with the red/sweet?

If you remember my friend Darlene? Her daughter arrived here from Florida 2 weeks ago. Her daughter wanted me to come spend time with her Mother while she takes an interview in the big city. I said it would be better if the both came & stay with me.

So I had a friend who is involved in homecare come for dinner last night. My goodness these people are not paid enough $'s for what they do.

So here is my game plan. I am going to take Darlene to my Dr. first thing this morning while her daughter is in the big city for her interview.

Morning Nin, Morning everyone!

Another FL winter day here 85 and sun. Busy day here. Dropped off my newsletter for the first edit and should get it back later today for revisions. Still working on their directory as well. And I have to stop by work today for a few hours, so a busy day here.

DINNER ...

Lady #1 and #2:
Lasagna Roll-Ups (same as I had last night) very classic, but they turned out really good; grilled Caesar salad; crusty bread

Me:
Taking the leftover salisbury steak patty (minus the sauce). I only sauced 2 of them. Topping with marinara and fresh mozz (I was wondering what I was going to do with that lonely piece of mozzarella); and, I have just enough cauliflower and broccoli for a small side. Clean out the fridge night!!

I am the lamest person ever - I have no idea AGAIN. Sigh. It will be chicken or pork tenderloin or fish tacos  Probably fish tacos.

It is WARM here!! Sunshine, 70+ degrees, and a thunderstorm predicted for tonight. We're airing out the house, and I'm making Asparagus and Crab Salad for dinner. Have to substitute artichoke hearts for the hearts of palm, but whatever.

I know better than to think this weather will last more than the week they're predicting (it is March in Michigan, after all), but there's an 80F in the forecast and I'm going to take full advantage of it. :D

Edit:
And fish! I forgot I'm also making tilapia. No earthly idea what I'm going to do with it exactly since the broiler is kaput, but possibly baked with Kitten's parmesan sauce on it. Had to do that recipe that way once before and it worked out OK. Broiled Parmesan Tilapia

Ninner, you day does sound busy! Hope you enjoy yourself, well visiting anyway, I know the DR's office isn't fun.

Denise, LMAO, if you are lame, I am worse than lame. I never seem to have a clue until almost 3 or 4 pm and then its just flying by the seat of my pants.....

This is how my ideas went right out of the window. OK I woke up and took inventory of my leftovers in the fridge. Thought to myself, "Self, you need to eat up all those leftovers for dinner tonight." So I was stupidly thinking, I don't have to cook tonight. (imagine me skipping around the house) Well, I ate a plate of leftovers for breakfast. Then my son and I just ate some more of those leftovers for lunch. Now I am looking at the leftovers and wondering if there is going to be enough for dinner. BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD on whats for dinner! :?

Since I had to get up at stupid o'clock in the morning for work (I'm in one of the venues for Gilda's Laugh Fest today), I put corned beef, potatoes, onions, carrots and cabbage in the crock pot. That way, no matter when I get out we both have something to eat.
