Thx Shapes, I will look around. It's only me too. When the poker boys and I cook, or my fishing friends, we make them fresh. But, just for me, sometimes, I just want a a couple with my fish. And like you said, not worth it for just one. I honestly never looked for them before. I have some catfish for this weekend or next week, and I would love to have some on the side.

Sue, I have one in my Irish cookbook. I will look it up and pass it along. If the internet holds up. It has been up and down all am, they are doing maintenance. No phone either. Got to love Comcast

There are as many recipes for soda bread as there are people who make it. Heck, I don't think we've ever made it the same way twice, although ours always has currants and we've taken to making it with whole wheat flour because we like it dense.

Tonight we're having leftovers (chicken and rice casserole), but I'm also making something up using cream cheese, Cool Whip, triple berry Jello and fresh strawberries. Probably do a cracker crumb crust and call it dessert squares. I'm experimenting. And then tonight I'm finally getting around to making that carb free bread, although I'm not linking to the recipe any more because the original recipe and photo are from another site.
