Dinner changed. My son asked me for some help this afternoon and we ended up going out to have lunch. Soup and a big sandwich at Panera. NOT my favorite place but he loves it. So, anything for him. 2:30 lunch is too late for me. Dinner will be just a small salad or just an egg sandwich or omelette, simple and easy.

Sorry, kids...they've stopped handing out free samples. Best I could do was a Matrix/Logics t-shirt. And I was right, by the way. Sunday = no food. Monday I ended up getting an hour break (our second show started 15 minutes late to make that happen) so I had a buffalo bacon bleu cheese burger at the bar across the street.

Today I finally have a day off!!! I had grand plans for cooking, but since I didn't crawl out of bed until after 2pm we're now having broiled boneless pork chops with whatever frozen vegetables I find. Maybe some bag salad if it hasn't gone bad.

Sorry to hear about no samples Felix. Plus no food on Sunday. The Matrix t-shirt sounds like a score.

What show are you doing now?

This week is a mishmash. Tomorrow I'm doing some sort of event at our new biomedical cancer research center, Thursday is the union meeting for officer's nominations (I'm running for a fourth term as recording secretary/sergeant-at-arms) followed by a one-off show of The Wizard of Oz at a theatre about 15 miles south of me. Friday I'm either going 80-ish miles south (darn near to Chicago, really) to work a one-off show of Spamalot OR working a hockey game.

Huh. It just occurred to me...maybe I'll use the blog feature here to post what I'm doing.

LOL, on the Blog Feature. The thing is in your job you get to see some interesting shows & sports events that I only dream of. Plus "sometimes" the food sounds very good. Never get fed where I work unless it is a potluck at Christmas.

"New biomedical cancer research center" I have had to have test in such a department before. The employees remind me of "Devo" as they all look the same.

Good luck on your fourth term!

48 hours till Dd leaves. Today I pack her bathroom. Two good things about it. I will find everything she has borrowed from me plus enough shampoo & conditioner to start my own store.

We have a going away dinner to attend tonight. The kids/young adults have booked a very nice Italian restaurant. Much more to my liking then the chain restaurants.
