I'm not into it today. There are over a dozen containers in the freezer (which means at least six different kinds of meals)...one of them has to work.

Edit:
Four hours later, I realized I have some fresh vegetables that were going to do, so I've whipped up a steak stir-fry with red bell pepper, celery, broccoli, cauliflower, red and white onion, with some bottled Radich's Spicy Garlic Teriyaki Sauce. I'm not doing rice, I've already put in way more effort than I wanted to.

Felt awful today. Took percoset and tried to nap.
Bill is chasing down piadina for dinner and iced tea with that.

Morning!

Felix, your steak stir fry looked good. I saw in the photo forum. Sue, sorry you don't feel good. I hope you feel better today.

I got home around 5ish last night, from my weekend away. It was nice. NO fish, caught a bunch, but NO keepers or worth keeping.

Today, dropping off the pot pie to Lady #4 this am; then, cooking for Ladies #1 and #2.
Crock pot Hawaiian chicken, grilled pineapple, and served over rice; sugar snap and carrot saute

Me, I ended up doing soup and salad last night, since it was late; and I found a container of a "everything but the chicken sink" soup in the freezer; and, I wanted to use it up. So, a salad with that.

Tonight, one of my freezer stash burritos (I think chicken, bean and rice) was the last batch; served over lettuce with; cheese, salsa, sour cream, and avocado.

Thanks for the kind thoughts, Kim. From bad neck, bad midback, bad lower back, bad hips bad knees, bad ankles, it is an issue top to bottom and once in awhile it comes together like a perfect storm- sometimes all it takes is for one area to be hurting bad, then try to sleep and if I don't sleep right, the hurting favored area sets everything else off like falling dominoes and I wake up a sight.
Didn't get much sleep because of that and was dozing off and on sitting upright in the chair (not a good idea with my neck though). Bill went out for his first paid review write up and I didn't feel up to going along. I will miss that. He is signing on to do articles for a new beer magazine that will have local coverage. The place he went is actually very good! They serve tapas and brew on site. They have some tasty sliders with bacon jam that just rock! They also have smoked wings. Bill said they have added pierogies (Olympics) and also poutine to the rotating menu. Better food than most and they are just a gastropub! LOL

I have some chuck roast to cook today- want to make it into shredded beef and do some kind of beef po boys. The later it gets I'll be putting the sandwiches together tomorrow.
Still feel terrible and my feet are dragging.

I'm heating up some of the #recipe12144 from the other day, along with probably some bag salad and...something...

Morning!

Hope everyone is well starting off the week.
Sue, hope you are feeling better. Felix, love your freezer stash. I am working on mine as well.

Working from home this am; this afternoon, a few errands downtown; so, using my last gift card from Xmas.

Libbys Cafe and Bar. They have a great '3 Course Prixe Fixe Menu' between 3:30 and 5:30. Three (3) items, beer or wine for $16 - a great deal. http://libbyscafebar.com/downloads/early.pdf. Really unique food. My choice - A mixed LCB (green salad) to start, short ribs, mango sorbet; and beer with the ribs of course. NO cooking.

I actually haven't gotten into the freezer for a few days...we're working on fresh leftovers. ;)

Speaking of which...tonight we're having the steak stir-fry from the other night, but I am under orders to make rice for it this time. I think that justifies not having any kind of side dish with it.

I didn't get the beef into the crock early enough so it has been delayed for today.
Simple cheese quesadillas for lunch- love the beauty of start to finish in about 5 minutes!

Morning Everyone!

Sue, I love quesadillas. I made them often, even for breakfast. A great way to use up just a few things or just cheese as you said. A grilled cheese with less bread, lol. I really do love them.

Today's Cooking ...

Lady #1 and Lady #2, Stuffed pork chops (corn bread stuffing); roasted brussels sprouts; poached pears in port wine w/mascarpone

Me, the never ending lamb meatballs. I swear this has been on my menu 10x, and still not had them for dinner. They are made, in the freezer; just, need to cook them. A mix of lamb/turkey with yogurt, mint, dill, and basic meatball ingredients; served w/tzatziki; couscous with chick peas, dill and mint; sauteed carrots
