sounds wonderful!lovinretirement wrote:Made some turkey burgers tonight, flavored with fresh rosemary, thyme, basil, Montreal steak seasoning, a little steak sauce, chopped onion and minced garlic. But I didn't know what to fix with it. I didn't want french fries. So I made some orzo with charcoal grilled veggies like zucchini, corn on the cob (cut off), onions, tomatoes, and red bell pepper, chopped them all up and mixed with the orzo. I just posted the recipe, so it probably won't be up till tomorrow. It came out very tasty.
Tonight is pizza night.

You guys have been way more productive when it comes to cooking than me.
I had a gift card to olive garden. Ate out 2x, which is unusual for me; and worked 3 nights. Then, leftovers from the freezer, lol.
But, tonight back on the grill. A marinated flank steak in pesto, red wine, mustard, and onions.
On the side ... a good old baked spud w/sour cream and chives.
And, skewers of mushrooms, tomatoes, and onions.
And, it may be a 11.00 steak; but, I should get 4 dinners out of it. Bargain for a steak.

And make pesto too. I freeze pesto as well. I just used all my basil; in the middle of replanting this time of year. FL is so hot ... lots of plants die out if not in a shady area.
