Nanny, I love smoked sausage ... I always have some on hand in the fridge or freezer. You can do so much with it.
Chicken curry sounds great Memack.

I didn't get my refrigerator pickles done yesterday; so, that is on my list today. They are really quick. I already had all the jars done. So, a quick brine and pour; and pickles in the fridge.

Super easy, quick, and lasts for a good 3 months or more in your fridge. I got mason jars, spice, and pickling salt right from Walmart; you can make your own spice too. Cucumbers, salt, sugar, water and done. I do add fresh dill and garlic. But, nothing hard. I did have to cut the garlic and cucumbers; but that is about it.

FYI, pickling salt wont get cloudy, kosher salt works equally as well; but, it can get cloudy. Still tastes the same. I have used both; and, my kosher salt ... never clouded. Just FYI.

my menu tonight is this with garlic bread :D

1 bacon strip, chopped
4 eggs, lightly beaten
1 pack all-purpose cream
1 cup Parmesan cheese, plus more for sprinkling
1 package (500 grams) spaghetti
1/2 cup butter, softened
salt and pepper to taste

1 In a skillet, cook bacon until brown and crispy. Drain oil. Set aside.

2 Combine eggs, cream and Parmesan cheese in a bowl. Set aside.

3 Bring a big pot of water to a rolling boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente. This will take about 10 to 12 minutes. Drain. Put pasta back into the pot.

4 Turn on stove to medium low heat, pour egg-cheese mixture onto the pasta. Add butter and toss until pasta is well coated. Season with salt and pepper.

5 Add bacon and sprinkle with cheese. Top with chopped parsley. Toss and serve immediately.
