Morning everyone!

Nice balmy temp here at 38.3F & raining. We are to start a snow storm this evening into tomorrow with an accumulation of 8 inches. So I will be out & about today then hunker down.

Tonight I am making Felix's "Singapore Chicken". I have made this many times & always enjoyed by family & friends.

*yawn* Stupid work...I am awake WAY too early! :? Loading in the Broadway tour of Million Dollar Quartet today.

Tonight we're having some kind of leftovers. Probably not the crab quiche as I've put some in my lunch, but maybe the cheesy chicken broccoli casserole.

My goodness Felix this is early for a post from you. It has been so quiet I thought I might be the only person left on the planet, lol.

I just hate winter! By this time in the spring/summer I would have been outside for more then two hours.

Felix, "Million Dollar Quartet". I had to go & look that up. One thing is that your toes will be taping today, lol.

I've been up Nin, but working on a bunch of computer issues. My one laptop won't start windows, so I have finally got it up, but something is seriously wrong. I am trying to diagnose it now. The one I am on now - the screen is going. This am, I lost another 4" off the left side. So I am working on 1/2 of a screen

Got to love computers

So today! Dinner

New recipe to post on Zazz; Mexican Goulash. Fresh yellow pear salad (some of my friends tomatoes fresh from the garden) and romaine with a spicy creamy jalapeno dressing

Last night we had baked potato and cucumber salad so we had one of our meatless meals. Tonight is Italian sausage, cheesy rice with broccoli and another cucumber salad. When cucumbers are 3 for $1.00 and look good, we buy them and use them.

Tom is trying to lose some weight and to start eating vegetables. This is a big change for him. I have always made sure we have fruit and veggies for me to grab when I need my daily snacks.

I do the same Laury, when a veggie is on sale, buy it. I have no problem with the same salad or same veggie a couple of nights in a row. I do it all the time with favorite fruits, and veggies. Nothing wrong with that.

Good for DH, fruits and veggies are the way to go.

Ever cook cucumbers, sliced with onions, dill and a little butter s/p are wonderful. There are also some great recipes using a little white vinegar too which are excellent. Really easy, but very tasty as a side dish.

I had some chili and Italian bread in the freezer so tonight will be nice and easy. I will toast the Italian bread.

The base for my Mexican goulash has simmered 2 hours, nice and spicy. BTW, it smells so good.

One half for me and the rest I am making another casserole for a friend. Unfortunately, I have to use spiral pasta ... not my favorite, but I forgot to get more elbows at the store. It is still pasta ... just not my favorite, but it will work just fine. Recipe posted tonight!

I just love the house when it smells so good. Bread baking and Mexican simmering ... YUMMMM!!!

We have guests coming in this weekend, so I've been busy - that means casserole night! I had a pound of ground round, so making one of the guy's favorite - http://www.food.com/recipe/dads-casserole-67426
