What WAS on your Plate & WHAT'S for Dinner Tonight 2/15

Post by Kchurchill5 » Mon Feb 15, 2016 9:11 am

HAPPY MONDAY EVERYONE! I HOPE EVERYONE HAD A NICE VALENTINES DAY.

I missed yesterday; went out fishing all day. Last minute, so I didn't get to check in until late last night. We had a fish fry too.

Ladies #1 and #2: http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/beef-m ... asta-22596, using spuds vs pasta; grilled endive iceberg wedges w/blue cheese.

Me: Soup (veggie/pasta, freezer stash); cheese and mushroom quesadilla as a dipper (just one tortilla folded in half and grilled) I ate my fair share of enough fried fish, fried hush puppies, etc last night - need a big lighter tonight.

Yesterday I made my Double Crunch Honey Garlic Chicken Breasts http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/double ... east-15688
except I used turkey filets instead. Also pan-sauted green beans with onions, garlic, salt, pepper and grated parm at the end. Also some cottage cheese with peaches on top.
Tonight I think something with shrimp.

Lovin, I love to use turkey now and then vs chicken. I always watch for them when they go on sale.

I thought about grilling too; but, chance of rain. So far ... NO rain, go figure. So, soup was a good choice. My luck I would start grilling; and, it would starting raining.

Vday is just me and my son; so, it was nice to go out fishing - something I love.
