Four days and counting!

How is everyone doing? Christmas Panic Time Yet?
It's National Fried Shrimp Day ~ Not very Christmas like is it?

So ... today is more busy work for Christmas Prep; and, I have a party for one of the ladies.

Lady #1 and #2+4: Very casual dinner party w/family - NE clam chowder to start; chilled beer steamed shrimp w/spicy papaya cocktail sauce; steamed stone crabs w/garlic lemon butter; steamed mussels, clams, and potatoes in a white wine fennel broth w/crusty bread; classic slaw in lettuce cups; saltines, a must; and, key lime pie brought by one of the guests
(soup cooling; shrimp and sauce done; slaw done; and stone crabs are already cooked when you buy them, just reheat - the rest is easy). Served family style on a table covered with newspaper; and paper everything. Just have to reheat 2 things and cook the mussel and clam dish.

My dinner, no clue - I have a container of goulash in the freezer, with a salad; or, I may just do scrambled eggs and toast; I even ham some ham I could warm up too.
Basically - Easy!

Tonight it was lemon shrimp with grape tomatoes, mushrooms and pineapple in a lemon/soy sauce served over rice.
