Himself has eaten every single morsel, not a rind or sinew left. He will suffer  Oh Ninner, I'm really not laughing AT you but that has happened to many of us. I'm in the process of buying Christmas baking supplies and decided to put them on a pantry shelf all their own. Sweetie knows if he touches them he's in deep doo doo! I think he would rather have the goodies than the nuts and fruits by themselves.

Tonight's dinner is pork tenderloin chops with chipotle cranberry sauce, artichoke hearts and mac n cheese for Sweetie.

I laughed pretty hard at this, just because I remember a year or two ago when my DH threw the hambone away! OMG I was livid! I couldn't even look at him without planning his demise!

FYI, ever make this. Mom used to all the time. She make a beef roast. chuck I think, but she cooked it in beer and onions. Pretty basic, no seasoning. I still have the card she wrote in on. Beer, salt, pepper, bay leaf and some generic, "all purpose". Bake until tender is what she wrote.

On the side, was the dish that I remember she served it with. Cabbage, rough cut and cooked in stewed tomatoes with Italian seasoning and potatoes. Skin on potatoes and just cut in half. She served this with the roast that was falling apart. It was just a TDF meal and I have never posted it, but it was awesome comfort food. Iceberg wedge with thousand island was always the side. Talk about re-run and classic food. But it sure was good.
