Happy Halloween!!

No Halloween plans here.
We really do not do Halloween it in Argentina.
The last few years it has become more in fashion, but...not even close to Halloween in the US.
Nobody it's going to come and knock at my door.

I have no idea what to make for dinner tonight. I have a broccoli quiche in the freezer, that i'm tired to look at...I have some beans soaking that could end up in a salad...
I don't want to go shopping.

My gf and I pigged out with breakfast; so, I'm set for the day.

I sauteed a 1/2 can of diced potatoes, a slice of ham diced and some frozen spinach. Add some flour, milk, cheese; and ... presto a sort of creamed spinach. Stuffed it in a portabello and baked.
Finished with a poached egg. OMG, it was so good. I will make over and over. And, honestly, very little cream and cheese per mushroom.
However, we did have 2 bloody mary's. :)

Crockpot soup- has pork shoulder, andouille, potatoes, crushed tomatoes, kraut, onion, mushrooms, chix base, garlic, paprika, s&p...I think that's all I tossed in there. You know how it is making crockpot crap. LOL
But it tastes really good!

Your soup sounds great Sue! Kim a stuffed portabella sounds great! Some sort of salad sounds like what I should have done MP. We had BK whoppers with fries and a coke. I didnt eat my fries, neither did hubby, but it was on the coupon. We tossed them out the window for the birds!

Ever notice how birds hang out around the fast food places? If it isn't the fries, it's all the excess bun around a burger where the patty is about half the size of the bun. LOL

Whoppers- Bill and I were driving down to Florida after we got married and we went through the Smoky Mtn. National park to drive down through the Carolinas. We had stopped at a BK in Gatlinburg at the drive-thru and I saw a double whopper (that was back when I had never seen double size big burgers before) and said "What's that?" and "OMG let's get one!" SO funny, it was too big for both of us. Since then those double and triple burgers are everywhere, but that one was memorable for being the first for us, and especially fun since we were on vacation.
That was also the vacation where I spotted a blue soda in a bottle and bought it, then couldn't drink it after Bill made some snarky comment about Tidy-Bowl.
But no worries, I have gotten even with him seven-fold since then. =)) =)) =))
