Hi Deepster,Deepster wrote:Gosh, from the looks of things, I'd like an invite to anybody's house ;) ;) I haven't been to the grocery in the past two weeks, so the cupboard is getting kinda bare. Tonight, I'll MW a baked potato and serve with sour cream, cheese and chili. It's even "canned" chili that I'm borrowing from my winter emergency stash![]()
But, at least I ain't starving. I still have eggs, bacon, sweet potatoes, frozen B. sprouts, plenty of cheeses and crackers....actually, there's no chance of me starving. There's really plenty of "stuff" here. The question is, "do I want to eat it"....

I have a pretty hefty grocery list for this week, though.
Felix, I do love your "coup" at Checkers....right on with those fries!!!!

We're having leftovers tonight,but your
more than welcome to join us anytime.

Anyway, my baked potato last night turned out to be a winner. This was truly one of the "butteriest" taters I've ever seen. I mean the inside of the spud was cooked perfectly....it had to be the particular spud, 'cus I didn't do anything special. It was just a naturally CREAMY potato.
Not sure what I'll do tonight. I'll just wing it, as tomorrow is grocery day, and then I'll have a lot more variety.

And, I love a good stuffed or spud topped with whatever. Always a good go to meal.
Sometimes a good a baked spud topped with cheese, bacon, sc, and then a salad is a great meal. WHY not? good and simple.

I woke up to delicious smelling turkey broth/stock in the crock pot
Easy day here; after my crazy day yesterday, I'm looking forward to something a bit less hectic.
Crustless quiche. Using my ham from the other night, shredded potatoes, peppers and onions I think; and, fresh citrus over my garden greens w/poppy seed dressing.

I forgot to bump down the heat before I turned the oven on now it feels like Florida in here. Oh, Hi! Kim! How'd you get in here? ;)

I wanted to get a peek and feel of all that cold and snow. I won't stay long ... trust me. My blood freezes at those temps,Sue wrote:Today is homemade ketchup, sloppy joes, banana bread, oven potatoes, chopped salad. I may end up making sandwich rolls too if I don't want to shop for those. I hate going to the market for just one thing...

But, I hate the store for one thing too. I usually try to make due if I can.
