Re: What Desserts are you planning for Thanksgiving?

I know, that YOU know, how blessed you are to have that family and those memories, Foxy! Yes ma'am, I am blessed. I also know that my grandmother is 86 and won't be with us that many more years, so I treasure the memories I have with my entire family buncha nuts that they all are. I also know once ...

Re: Cranberry Lovers Beware

That seems to be the story on all products anymore! :x We pay more and get LESS! It seems they are constantly reducing volume, and yet we are paying more. I have been so P**** about it that I had contacted some of the manufactures. It is the same old BS....."we will pass your information on" :x Sin...

I, too, Foxy, am a lover of ALL things pumpkin, including the pie.

Nice idea of having a Potluck Thanksgiving! That takes so much stress of of the cook.

And MaMere, will you even have time to enjoy the holiday, with all that baking? :o

Re: Amazon Kindle Fire vs. B&N Nook Tablet vs. Nook Color

Okay, let's try this again and see if my post 'sticks' this time. Fact: I have four Kindle Fire's sitting in my living room. They are ALL gifts and I was planning on ordering one for myself, simply to stream movies and read their free monthly book. I don't plan on ordering one for myself, now, until...

Re: Amazon Kindle Fire vs. B&N Nook Tablet vs. Nook Color

Swedish I'm hoping you know the answer to this. Does the lending library available with prime membership allow you only one loan per month? That's the sense I'm getting. invictus: Yes, it's ONE per month. For someone like me, that works perfectly. For a fast reader like Felix, I don't think so. I j...

Re: The Weather Outside Your Window...

I just copy the URL for the picture and use the [img] code to post it as a hotlink. Which is why I keep using the local ABC station rather than the NBC station I actually watch, because they're the only ones who post the entire forecast as one .jpg. As for the rain, if you look at the radar, I'm sm...

invictus wrote:My house is always presentable so I don't clean or pick up because it always is. Now is my houe ever really clean? That's a different story.
I'm identical to you, invictus, but my Gran's training still has me dusting clean surfaces! A home was never too clean for a Swede!
