Re: WHAT'S FOR DINNER - AUGUST 2014

I haven't been sleeping well this week either. I'm PMS ( oh when will menopause ever come ! ) and just thrashing around. I was in the mood for a salad - so had a spinach salad with the grilled chicken tonight - it was really good.. Deepster, the soup sounds really good. I've been working like crazy ...

Re: WHAT'S FOR DINNER - AUGUST 2014

Its been really pleasant here. I am thinking of grilled chicken, Mom's canned green beans and a baked potato. Simple - but good. I really have had no urge to cook anything beyond the basics. My Kitty is growing up a bit and seems more content at night. Except the furaball likes to sleep curled up ne...

Re: WHAT'S FOR DINNER - AUGUST 2014

So sorry about the allergies, I sneeze constantly in the spring. Well - my DH cleaned up one of the flower beds .... I went out and he had pulled up EVERYTHING ! My bed of columbine is all gone. He said it looked weedy and it had to go. He could have cut it down, or mulched it over - but with the ro...

Re: WHAT'S FOR DINNER - AUGUST 2014

MMMM Pork Chops and creamed peas sounds great. How do you make Brady Bunch porkchops. I seriously can not make a good chop for anything - but I keep trying. I keep remembering my grandmas - but I think the pork is so dry now. Hopefully your house sells, the market is still pretty slow in New England...

Re: WHAT'S FOR DINNER - AUGUST 2014

I love tomato and cucumber salad. Wish we had some rain here it is pretty dry. I have given up on the weeds - I have decided that I am OK with a ratty looking back yard. I just burn out on it this time of the year. Those sundaes are really too sweet for me ... but my 15 year old can and will eat eve...
