"Every holiday season I'm forever buying another can of pumpkin pie spice because I never know if I have one in my pantry or not (sound familiar? lol) Along with a can of ginger, nutmeg and cloves! One year I ended up with 2 cans of cloves, 3 nutmeg, and 3 pumpkin pie spice! This solves the problem for me, and I hope this will help a lot of you too! This would make a nice gift in a jar item!"

I don't buy pumpkin pie spice because it is too expensive, and I hate trying to calculate how much of each spice I need to substitute, so your recipe is perfect. I always have the ingredients on hand and the balance is just right.
