" A fun thing to throw together on a cold or rainy day. I sometimes will make this with my younger kids to take with them on playdates as a kind of "hostess" gift. This is the easiest play clay recipe in my mom arsenal. If you don't have kool aid packets food coloring works fine. The paste kind will give you more vivid colors. In a pinch you can omit the cream of tartar, it will affect the texture a little but it's still fun. Once I get the kettle boiling I can make several batches in a short time."
