IT'S MONDAY ONCE AGAIN!
AND ... HAPPY CANADIAN THANKSGIVING TO ALL YOU CANUCKS!

Today's Cooking ...
Lady #1+1: http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/fish-i ... aise-24794 baby mixed greens salad w/champagne vinaigrette

Me: My catering friend got a great deal on a warming oven at a restaurant auction; so, I'm helping pick it up and try to make room in her kitchen. I think it will be Square 1 Burgers on the way home.

Happy Cooking Everyone!

Grilled cheese-ham sandwiches, I have some scalloped potatoes left over so I`ll be warming that up also for tonight.

Tonight I made shrimp over rice. I sauted some onions, green peppers, garlic, crumbled bacon; then added 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce and 1/4 cup orange marmalade, and about 1 cup chicken stock. Reduced down and poured over rice, then the sauted shrimp that had been seasoned with Mrs. Dash Fiesta Lime seasoning.

Hey 2 stir fries tonight. That is always a good quick dish to make. I'm a soup and sandwich gal too; so, that always works for me.
Lovin, I love adding orange marmalade to sauces, glazes and stir fry. I get the sugar free and keep it on hand. It's delicious!!!

That is why I always a freezer stash of soup on hand; for nights just like that. But, nothing better than a good bowl of soup.
