Best type of place Nin. Back in MI, there was a little bar just a few blocks away and, even though it was a bar, it was a family place. It was a fantastic Italian restaurant. Most thought they were just pizza and a bar, but the owners were from Italy and their food was amazing. It was a small menu, but wow. Fantastic and authentic.

But NO ONE would ever mention how good they were. There only 10 or so booths and a few stools at the bar. The place took no reservations, but it was always packed.

Those places are rare to find. ENJOY! I miss that place - some of the best Italian food I ever had.

The place is small 15-20 seats? I will have to count but the food is made from scratch. I would not say the price is cheap but not expensive either.

Church come over to my house & I will tell Dd she is paying for both of us, lol.

Do you need my pilot? Racrgal tells me he is in Jamaica, drunk.

Just finished cooking my stuffed chicken. Not that anyone will be eating it tonight.

Changed my mind ... just notice my zucchini needs to be used and besides, I really like my tuna grilled and it is too d**n cold to grill tonight.

So, a new pasta for me, another veggie night. Fontina cheese, linguini and shredded zucchini with walnuts. Very light and NOT saucy, but just a light flavor. A nice tomato salad on the side. it is still pasta and cheese, but a bit healthier. Sounded good

I'm calling it "being cost-conscious" rather than "being lazy". Tonight I'm adding a can of corned beef to the remaining cabbage, carrots, etc. since we've eaten all the meat from it and reheating the whole thing. Probably it'll be the last time, and then I can make more new stuff again.

Well, all we have to wait for is for Racrgal to find the pilot as she knows where he is. The temp has come up to a balmy 35.6 which will be the high for today. Rain coming in if it stays above freezing. If not we are going to get hit with a lot of snow.

Since Jamaica is not coming up fast. Italian it will be. Reservations for 5.30pm with the Early Bird crowd, I am sure. I know the reason we are eating so early as Dd wants to see "The Boy".

Well, I decided to go to Walmart today. I hate Walmart, so I always pick up those frozen cordon bleu and we have those on the dreaded Walmart days. But I decided to be a little frisky today and picked up a take and bake pizza. I don't think I've ever bought one before, I hope it's edible  Meh, the bottle of Dancing Bull zin will make it taste great, I'm sure

Denise, we used to have a pizza delivered every other Friday. We decided to save money and recently went to frozen DiGiourno's pizza.
The delivered is a tiny bit better and will be what we have when we have company. When we are alone we will have frozen.
