2015 Slimdown
Re: 2015 Slimdown
Just keep hacking away and making lighter choices and it will happen.
Like Kim, I don't believe in drastic reductions and changes. I am fine with small losses and figure some weeks won't have any loss at all while the body adjusts and copes.
Re: 2015 Slimdown
Had a bowl of cornflakes with banana for breakfast. For dinner going to have a chicken & veggie chipotle pizza on a crispy flatbread and a side of cucumber dill salad.
Re: 2015 Slimdown
Had a headache last night, didn't cook, and got pasta carryout.
I did get the dinner I had planned for yesterday cooked for lunch since Bill was home after going in for an mri (shoulder)
It was wasabi baked cod and baby bok choy with citrus brown sauce. And a little rice.
I have a really good Asian dressing I want to photograph as a main dish salad. Maybe I will make that tonight with some grilled chicken.
It's been Asian lately at home.
Re: 2015 Slimdown
Nothing dramatic, but maybe I can get some renewed energy this next week. Have been feeling tired and unenergetic, even uninspired to do my writing.
I think part of it is this mild winter. It is mild enough to keep me thinking about warm days, but no snow and it is just cold and dreary. At least if there were snow, it would seem lighter out. However, skies remain a pallid gray. I feel like I live in Seattle!
I need a desert vacay to get out in the sun!
If I'd had a winning ticket this week, I'd be in the Sahara right now, trying to figure out which tagines were best for my waistline! ;)
Re: 2015 Slimdown
I know what you mean about the milder weather Sue. At least when it snowed, I could get out and shovel for my exercise. So now back to going up and down the stairs. The days are dreary here too, speckled with rain. I think I will join you in the Sahara...the sun and the tagines sound like it would be just the thing to brightened both the body and spirit!
I took the liberty of updating my loss on the first page.
