Tonight we ate leftover goulash. It was great. I swear it gets so much better when it sits overnight.

Tomorrow I am making the sauerkraut hotdish/casserole. I was going to make it this weekend, but DH asked for homemade hamburgers and I added my fav, onion rings.

Morning Everyone!
Happy Hump Day - we have half way home.

Only 73 today after a couple of weeks in the 80's. Cooler and down to low 60's this wknd. Cool nights too and almost normal all next week. About time, it is actually winter like. Hope everyone is safe from all the snow from "Rocky."

Today's Cooking ...

Lady #1: Pork tenderloin (crock pot) w/mushroom tomato gravy; mashed parsnips and potatoes; steamed green beans

Lady #2: Roasted chicken breasts w/marsala mushroom gravy; mashed celery root and spuds; sauteed green beans with dried cranberries and walnuts

Me: Open face steak sandwich I was supposed to have last night, topped with mushrooms and swiss cheese; maybe a warm spud salad (no mayo), or strawberry and peach salad.

Also ... making a small batch of vodka tomato sauce to give to a friend. My friend gave me his last batch of tomatoes (since he can't eat them all). He is the one I shared all the seafood with for V-day. He will enjoy it.

Lunch was St. Paul Sandwiches.

Dinner will be crock pot turkey, with assorted sides.

Wat is St Paul Sandwiches ... or is it a place?
Turkey is also good ... if anyone knows me, they know, turkey is one of my favorites.

I am not sure if I am going to work or not....So its up in the air. (Have had a stomach bug for a few days) The sauerkraut hotdish we had last night was wonderful, but not sure if my stomach loved it so much!

If I stay home, I am making a chicken stir fry with egg rolls and sweet and sour sauce. If I go to work, who knows! ;)

Chili sounds good. I may make a small pot this weekend since it will be COLD for FL. Besides, great for the freezer too! Thx for the idea.

Dis feel better!

Update: Chili sounded too good. On the menu for this weekend I think. It will be cold, so it sounded good.
