That sounds like me today. At work, but everything is so wet, will be heading home soon. I'll be working on the computers from there. It is just standing water everywhere; so we cann't clean up the debris or anything. I have to hit Publix on my way home because I forgot my list this am

Thanks Felix. My oldest son hurt himself at football camp. He's torn 2 and maybe 3 ligaments in his left knee (the 3rd possible being the ACL) so he has an MRI today and we will go from there. I think he's going to require surgery.

The plan is chicken orzo salad but I don't have much time to make it happen so wish me luck! :D

Yeesh...that's gotta hurt! I hope it can be fixed easily for him!

Tonight we don't appear to be doing real dinner. We went to the farmer's market this morning (I'm at my niece's house), so we've been grazing on vegetables all day, either plain or dipped in ranch or sour cream. Probably we'll just continue that.

The kids are not amused.

Holy good god, but it's hot. And it's only noon. :? But...I knew it was coming. We're having a variety of salads tonight, not sure which combination. I'm making these to have in the house for the next few days:
Creamy Pea Salad (recipe from F.com)
http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/kidney-bean-salad
http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/berries-and-balsamic
Shrimp salad (which I'll post later)
http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/crab-stuffed-cucumbers (I'm going to do them as boats for an entree)
Edamame and Summer Bean Salad (recipe from the Mayo Clinic)

It's not supposed to cool down until at least Wednesday. I may have to call for reinforcements.

That is just...wrong...

Current reading (1:30pm) 94F, humidity 53%, heat index 104F. I've got the kidney bean salad, edamame salad, and shrimp salad done, as well as two gallons of sweet tea. After a bit of a break here to put my feet up, I'm doing the rest. And then I'm done. If it requires cooking that isn't the microwave, it ain't comin' out of my kitchen!
