Orange chicken over rice, love that, but have never had the courage to make it myself. Your menu looks great Invictus

I'm getting Hubby used to the idea of "turkey" products. I bought Turkey Pepperoni for our pizza a couple weeks ago, and he actually liked it. It kind of tastes a bit "dry" or crumbly? But its really great for 70% less fat!

I tied turkey pastrami a while back and it was quite good. I made a grilled sandwich with it and I was surprised how good it was. A ton less fat, but still very good.

I also don't mind some of the turkey sausages; they have great flavors these days. Aidells (sp?) have wonderful flavors.
Sundried, chipotle, sage, mozz and basil; even mango and other flavors. I think some 15+ flavors.

They are really good just grilled served with sides that match the flavors.

I use turkey in things because I like how it tastes and that it has less grease, not because of any health differences. I just like it. I love the sausage and some of the deli meats are not bad either.

I love the Aidell's sausages - the chicken with apples is a favorite. They are really, really tasty sausages!

The only thing I don't like is turkey bacon, which I can't stand at all - especially the smell of it cooking.

HF, I too love the apple one by Aidells. If you like sweet potatoes, Cut 2 of them up (peeled) and to a pan with some of the sausage, 1/2 bag of the frozen pearl onions, green cabbage wedges, and 1 granny smith apple. 1 beer, mixed with a teaspoon cider vinegar, 1 tablespoon dijon and 1 tablespoon honey. Cover with foil and bake. I have made this quite a few times and it is really good.
