A pineapple or mango salsa sounds perfect!

No. He tried valiantly, but his car wouldn't go more than about 30 yards without stalling. Depending on how it goes with the mechanic today, we're hoping for tonight.
fingers crossed for you!
Thanks! I haven't heard anything yet, but he will have another vehicle available tonight if his is still busted. :)

Radical change in dinner plans, by the way. The burger will wait until tomorrow since mom isn't home yet and now I won't have time to cook it. Since today is National Cereal Day, I'm having a huge bowl of Crunchberries.

Weather continues to be 60F with rain coming in. I have leftover potatoes & chicken breasts so tonight's dinner will be chicken pie served with a salad.

Morning Everyone!

Lady #3: Her daughters b'day, so going out - I'm off the hook

Me: This weeks plan got all messed up being sick, so everything is getting switched around. I planned meatballs for last night; then realized I was out of my last bag. So I had tilapia and my roasted beets.

Tonight salisbusy steak with mushrooms and Zucchini and Rice Casserole

Love it Laury! That was my lunch yesterday. Didnt' feel like anything, so popped some corn and didnt add butter so it was better for me, even if I did add butter flavored salt!

Dinner? Maybe chili.

Asian Chicken Salad.
Bed of Lettuce, (duh!) mandarin oranges, ramen noodles and slivered almonds that have been toasted. Green Onions, Balsamic Chicken Breast with an Asian Dressing.

Last nights pulled pork sandwiches were AMAZING with my homemade peach salsa. Thanks so much for the idea!

Tonight I am making a ground beef and rice bake with canned tomato soup, chili powder, and cheddar cheese. Those are basically the only ingredients but it is really darn good and cheap to make!
