Tonight is a recipe from F.com for tuna and sweet potato patties, which I'm serving with a salad made from red, yellow and orange bell peppers, red onion, asparagus, and Zesty Italian dressing with some Italian-Romano seasoning blend. And probably cottage cheese.

Felix, I have to say ... tuna and sweet potato I wouldn't of put together; but, why not. I love both. Love to see a pic if you can. Always love to use sweet potatoes more.

It's called "Tuna and Sweet Potato (Kumera) Patties" at Food.com. Instead of regular salt and pepper, I use my garlic-sea salt-pepper grinder, but otherwise I follow everything exactly.

Morning Everyone!

Felix looks great! Thx for the pic.

I decided not to head to the Farmers Market this am. I got some stuff from the Amish Farmers market they hold on Wed am. Much smaller; but, enough stuff to get me through the week. Sunny and gorgeous here today, so yard work is the plan.

Dinner, Lady #4 and her sister (visiting) are heading to the other coast (FL) today; so, I am making sandwiches and salads for them. This way, they can sit on the beach or pool deck, and relax w/o having to go out. The rest of their family flies down tomorrow.
- Beef tenderloin; roasted tomatoes, watercress, blue cheese dressing on ciabatta
- Mixed melon salad
- Roasted potato salad w/herbs and a vinaigrette
- Carrot cake cookies and a bottle of wine

Me, mushroom, spinach, and tomato omlette; toast, and strawberries.

Yup, Dissie...recipe makes 8 patties, two per serving, and they come out at 11.2 g carbs per serving. :D They're not something I make all the time, but they go through the rotation a few times a year.

Tonight I'm debating between reheating some Chicken Sorrento (which still hasn't published) and making #recipe4678. I suspect since it's noon and the pork chops are still in the freezer odds are really good we're having leftovers. I'm going to the hockey game tonight even though I'm not supposed to be in the building, because I want to.

Morning ... Did all of us who are part of daylight savings time remember to "Spring Ahead?"
I didn't. Woke up at 5; and, wished I could of slept more - then, remembered it was jump ahead - so basically only 4, which meant 3 hrs sleep. It will be a very very long day :(

Dinner, very easy, just me - Lady #4 is out of town with her sister.

A store bought fresh chicken and prosciutto tortellini. I'll make a baby spinach, onion, broth, and wine sauce (maybe throw in some mushrooms).
A caprese type of salad on the side.

Pet Peeve: Adding an "s" to Daylight Saving Time. ;) I never have to remember...I rely on devices for time anyway, and they automatically change.

Last night was amazing, even though we lost. It was actually the first hockey game I have ever attended as a spectator, although I've seen hundreds of them over the last 17 years working. And then I got to spend over an hour with my Dan while he drove me home (we haven't actually seen each other in months, and texting is not the same).

Tonight we're finishing off whatever leftovers are in the fridge because it's trash day. There are dibs and dabs of a bunch of different stuff, so it'll be nothing if not eclectic.
