Last night was the rb po' boys. Mashed pots with gravy from the roast. The only veggie was grilled onions and peppers on the sandwiches. And that was all too much too eat comfortably as it was.
I had another sandwich for lunch on a piece of grilled nan bread, kind of like a gyro. The remaining French bread had as of this a.m. passed my usability mark for sandwiches like that and has a future as either croutons or melba toast.

I'm revamping a chicken and rice casserole I've made since I was a kid, then posting it. Some kind of frozen vegetables on the side; I'll have to see what we have. I had other plans originally, but holy good god did I overdo it walking around my house yesterday wearing the stupid brace while I was washing the good one! I was up most of the night with my foot twitching, feeling like I was being stabbed with a railroad spike. Today is all about pills and sitting. Lots and lots of sitting.

Morning!

Doing some garage remodeling today. Basically, cleaning it. I hate a messy unorganized garage. I know, crazy. It has to be as clean as the house. Really

A bunch of errands, and then working tonight. So, not really any cooking.
The guys (co-workers)are grilling brats in beer w/kraut tonight. One is bringing corn on the cob; me, my refrigerator pickles and making a classic spud salad.
It may be wet today, cloudy; but, our grill is under cover. A bit cooler too.

There are a couple of steaks marinating in the fridge, and I'm gonna make #recipe3193 to go with them. And it occurs to me I need another side dish. Probably canned something...lima beans?

I bought some hushpuppies 'store bought' a few weeks ago. I can't wait to make them. I'm curious how they taste. I love them, so it would be nice to have now and then'; as I hate to fry if I don't have to. Do you have a brand you buy Shapes?

Hi Kim, :-H
The name of them are, Savannah Classics.
And they're not bad little hushpuppies.
I'm the only one here that eats them so, there's
no use in making them from scratch.
I forgot to mention, I bought them at Kroger's.

I am making Irish stew in the crock. I may make some soda bread if I come across a recipe I like.
