Facebook, I Want To But I'm Clueless

Post by Deely » Sat Nov 29, 2014 6:50 pm

I'm a private person and I hate clutter. How can I do Facebook and communicate with friends and filter out all the unwanted info without hurting feelings?

Deely there are many options you can choose to opt-out, I hardly go there and when I do it's really only to see my DS and DIL's page. It's really what you make it, you can spend lots of time there chatting with friends (if they are on at the time). Many people post everything they do everyday so everyone knows what they are up to, I'm not one of those people  Since I am an extreme animal lover, I do enjoy looking at all the animal pics from all the FB sites I have "liked" :D

Deely, like Kitten said. Many settings. I started out with just people I knew from work; then, school; now cooking friends. You don't have to add anyone you don't want. Only your friends can see your pics and things. So, you can really make it very private it you want. There are a lot of filters too.
It reminds me of people birthdays which is nice; and I can see what my non foodies friends are doing.

FB has a button you can click when you post something, and you can make the post visible to friends, like Kim said, or to whoever you want by adding those people to a selected list you put together, and people not on the list are out of luck. And you can change it from post to post so it doesn't have to stay the same way, but can change every single time.
