A Zazz resolution for 2012:

To try at least one new recipe a week and share it with my friends here at Zazz.

Well last year was the year that I finally put my belief where my mouth is so to speak and I became a practising Buddhist so my New Year determination is to be kinder in both thoughts and deeds - we will see how this one goes

Oh and on Wednesday I DIET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :( :( :(

I posted this earlier and see that it is now almost to page two of new posts. Doesn't anyone have a resolution for the New Year to share?

I asked DH what our resolutions are and he said, "Make more money, buy a house, be happy". I guess that works!

I have a list:
More volunteer time, and I have added another place to that list
Self Improvement; get back to meditation DAILY, 10,000 steps per day, vitamins/minerals DAILY.
Knuckle down on saving Money whenever, wherever possible, SAVE.
Get SUPER organized; we already are, but I mean go through every drawer, stack of papers, linen closet, regular closet and basement, and either donate, pitch, or sell, shred till we are clean clean clean! I have already begun this task and we started with the Christmas decorations.
My last one is re learn to knit and crochet! I used to, and loved it and feel its time to do it again, besides, what a wonderful thing to pass on in my volunteer work.

Wonderful! I am resolving to work out more this year. But other than that, I really like who I am and where I am, not a lot to resolve, I reckon.

Mam's if you have knit or crochet before, you already have the basics right?
Then, find a pattern and start!!!
Whenever you are stuck google the stitch you are stuck on. Also, Youtube has tons of knitting and crochet help videos.
I have been knitting for ages and donate lots of stuff to the local hospice and premature unit at the hospital. I also make lots for underpriviledged families during the winter months ie; hats mitts scarves......
